New Grower Getting started soon and gotta ask...

Hello. I've been lurking for a few months now, and doing research on every little aspect of a hydro grow during those few months. I've got a few questions, but I may as well go over what I've got first.

I've got a 4'x4'x7' tent, and el cheapo full spectrum, "1000 watt" Chinese LED (Hold your hand 18" under it while It's on, and it feels like your hand is out in the sun on a high uv day lol) Going to be running a (roughly) 35 gallon rwdc between two totes. (Each tote is 24 gallon. If I use 1.3 gallons of water per vertical inch, and use 4" net pots, it leaves roughly 35 gallons).
I've got the inline fan and carbon filter, too.
But... Right now, I've got three questions.
1) Which nutrients are "ph perfect", and won't cost an arm and a leg?
2) Which strains would you recommend, that won't let the rest of the hood know what I'm growing, that are high yielders with decently high thc? This part is important, because not only do I use mmj for pain, but I'd hate to have to get blood out of my dogs' fur and explain why my house reeks of herb, just because some tweaker thought they could get past two extremely protective dogs for a little bit of weed.
3)Which seedbanks seem to have the best, high yield, high thc strains that won't take two months to get here? A few friends have recommended seedsman, but one has been waiting since the beginning of September for his seeds to arrive, So I'm not sure I'll use them.

...I should add that once I get some money together again, I'll probably pick up a LEP and use my 1000w LED for... Supplementing the red spectrum? Causing photooxidation? "Experiments" is what we'll say, How's that?

What size fan/carbon you using? I also run fan/carbon but I also use Ona gel and Ona liquid concentrate (linen) outside grow area in the house to keep things down.

I'll have to go look again, honestly. 4" ducting, that goes into the fan and filter that's about as big around as a volleyball, and 16"-18" long... I'm terrible at answering questions unless I've got the stuff in front of me, btw.

hey buddy welcome to afn. nice to see someone else trying hydro from the get go. never used ph perfect nutes but advanced nutrients was the name that kept popping up when i asked. you’ll still need a decent ph meter and most likely need to ph the res at various points anyway. such as times where you misjudge the feeding requirements. make sure youve got a ppm pen aswell.
regarding the seeds. almost everything from dutch passion has the potential for giant yields. not all are massively high on thc but theyve got quite a few facemelters.
mephisto seem to be ruling the roost with quality but generally tend to be a bit smaller from what ive seen.
id also try find out what the true wattage of that light is mate. itll iether be on a label on the back of it or in the “spec” on the site you bought it from. this number will make a massive difference on your final yield. sounds like one of the better ones as its burning your hand but id check it out anyway dude.
