New Grower Garden of the Hesperides: II

Hey Omni, I got mine from a local gardening/hydroponics shop. Might be worth checking locally first. Also, I'd think that with Amazon's great return policy if you got expired/outdated stuff you could send it back pretty easy.

Yes. The leaves are so big and nice looking and they aren't blocking anything yet. I'm going to wait until a few more branches pop out and then probably snip them later. They do seem to be powering the plant really well. Plus I'm not quite a pro like you. Still learning and experimenting. Small slow steps at a time.
Hahaha dude..:crying:..I am far from a pro, but thank you.....and great answer too  .....Plant looks great dude:pass:

Day 17: @Vapo - I did it.

Nothing added tonight, everything looks to be recovering just fine from the top yesterday. Made another big change.

Pics: How it looked at first.

Lets get strappy! Used a couple small pipe cleaners on the inner branches. Too hard to reach in and tie a knot in anything. Borrowed this a little after seeing @Kyote use them to put some nice bends in his plant.

Both sides:

And those giant fan leaves on the top.... well, turns out they were kinda blocking everything underneath. Soooo snip snip... We shall see what happens next.... might be a step too far but it's just for fun right?

I hope these two turn into monsters! Thanks for reading!

I have to say you are doing a fantastic job on this journal. Wonderful detail and photos. It looks like it could be a guide. It is kind of fun since I am at 19 days.

everything looks great gromie......:pass:

Day 19: Growth continues!

Added: 1L water, new LST straps. No run-off with the water tonight. Getting it's second dose of Miicrobial Mass in 2 days. Probably mix up 2L with MM and feed at that point. Looking for just a drip or two runoff. The top inch has been getting dry but don't want to overdo it.

Current environment: 24.6C / 76F 71%rh

Tryin' ta get em even! Pulling the center growth towards the open areas. I can see loads of new sites starting to develop. Bring it! I got ribbons for all y'all!

Oh I've been riding the VPD chart from Scynce. I know my rh should be higher or the temp down a bit but this is about the max I can push with my setup. I'm in the green! I did have a few more rh %'s but it felt "wet" in the tent so I dropped it just a little. Plus the temp maxes out around 77/78F and drops to 72F, so right on that green/red border for now.

I've been trying to stay within the charts. I generally am in the range or "close enough". Nice these exist and can give us a general direction and goals.

Parts of me HATES all the science involved in this stuff these days....but you can't argue the results people seem to be getting.
