New Grower Garden of the Hesperides: II

Day 23: 3/22/21 Added nothing. Will need water tomorrow. Adjust the ribbons to try and get the top even. Plant is throwing out new branches left and right. Probably need a bit of defoliation around the bottom soon just for airflow. Hesitant to clip such large fans as I know they are putting serious power into the plant.

Looking healthy, the leaves appear plump!

I don't think it's so dense or lacking in light at the bottom to defoliate.

I am particularly watching them grow. I wanted to buy the trizkits but held off. Excellent job. The foliage does not look too chaotic.

Right on, thank you! I super appreciate you more knowledgeable guys commenting on stuff like this.

Thanks friend! I hope for a great turnout at the end.

Day 21: End of week 3.

Watered, 2L @6.3ph
4ml Miicrobial Mass
1ml Sensi Bloom A&B
~325ppm

Pics: Nothing much changed, lots of new small leaves and branches. Recovering fine from the 2 step topping.

Maybe one more adjustment with the LST straps and then, let it fly!

LST is ongoing with some of these plantz... in a blink of an eye it seems they will need it again :eek1:

Day 24: Watered: 1.4L @6.2ph 220ppm added molasses.

Should have been a nute day but I forgot. Also yeah, 1.4L cause my little watering can holds 1.5L but then it spills! Adjusted LST straps. Trying to hold the center open, tons of new branches off the main stems are starting to reach and fill it in. I read that this strain gets quite tall and I am a bit limited on height. Keeping things short if I can.

Lots of nice new stems forming on the inside:

Can really see how far out they are getting pulled from the center. We shall see if the new growth reaches back in to fill the opening.

Yeah, leave those leave alone.

I say cut those big old fan leaves off the bottom. The plant is using a lot of energy to keep them alive and they are no longer in the light producing energy for the plant. Don't go crazy, just select the biggest most shaded of the old fans to remove. Take 3 or 4 a day till you've got her where she feels right to you.

There largest fan leaves are photosynthesizing the most, imo it would be to the detriment or at least inconsequential to remove any leaves. There isn't any necrosis or anything, the shadows look like they appeared while he was taking pictures. Worst case scenario they die off naturally but the plant isn't large and his light is fairly decent

Just my opinion, to each their own
