New Grower Garden of the Hesperides: II

Day 15: Added 1L of water tonight. 50/50 tap and distilled ph'd to 6.4 and 100ppm. Tap is usually right around 8.0 and 212 ppm. Still no runoff but the pot feels heavy so I'll leave it alone a couple days.

Current environment: 24.7C / 76.5F and running steady 73%rh

Changes: Removed the first node. Clipped the serrated leaves and the inner branches. Nice gap along the bottom between the next set of leaves and the soil. Should provide good airflow from here forward.

Looking great, the detail in this journal is A+!!

Thanks friend! Definitely keeping track for myself more than anything. If I run into trouble like I did last time I might be able to pin it down better if I keep better records. Paper and notes just get lost in my house. Computer notes? I have a whole nicely unorganized folder of "great ideas." This thread is probably the most organized thing I have! Plus I know right where it is and I can jot down my additions as they happen.

Oh boy.... here we go..... how it started tonight: Second node stretched out a ton to reach into the light.

Well well, what have we here? Looks like the 5th node sticking its neck out and the 6th forming..... Can't have that!

Off with their heads! (hopefully with these two pics stacked you can see where I cut)

And now @Vapo style. Tie em down! Just a bit of ribbon and a clip to hold. The clips are on the second and the third im pulling out to the sides.

So I've either done it right, or really screwed it up! Next couple days should be interesting.

For me it's learn as I go so I have no comment or advice. The plant looks healthy and you seem to know what you're doing with the LST.

I am planning a grow and hopefully a grow journal on here, been waiting for almost 1.5 years to do my first, and now using this grow for reference. I have a question about where you got the AN Sensei Bloom since it seems that Amazon is selling expired AN Sensei Bloom...

Plants look structurally strong, DC. And healthy!

Not sure how others grow their autos, this is my first run with em and I fimmed all 4. Worked well on 3 of 4, 3 plants are all colas now.

the Nirvana "Original Glue" is fugly, guess it didn't take to the fimm.

Hey Omni, I got mine from a local gardening/hydroponics shop. Might be worth checking locally first. Also, I'd think that with Amazon's great return policy if you got expired/outdated stuff you could send it back pretty easy.

Yes. The leaves are so big and nice looking and they aren't blocking anything yet. I'm going to wait until a few more branches pop out and then probably snip them later. They do seem to be powering the plant really well. Plus I'm not quite a pro like you. Still learning and experimenting. Small slow steps at a time.
