New Grower G14 and AKR

@Time Getting all my seeds and stuff ready. I'm gonna have 128 square feet of vegetable space. Be my first ever garden thats mine..ive been around them and done plenty in them but still got alot to learn. Do you know how much square feet per watermelon plant off hand? And do you have a recommendation of a type of sweet corn? I got a 32 square foot section that id like to do half corn and watermelon. Then my raised beds used for my radishes, beans, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions etc.

2-4 ft per watermelon plant. They vine out pretty long and big.

Like weed, there are lots of varieties of corn and lots of seed companies. I mostly look for hybrids with yellow and white kernels that tend to be sweeter like this;

It's really tender and tasty but isn't the best for freezing or long term storage. Best eaten fresh.

Day 41 and 16: still having a hiccup with the Afghan. Not sure if its continuing to get worse or if I stopped the problem but what damage is done is still finishing up. Still gonna blame the soil. Really haven't done anything out of ordinary other than these plants being bigger than I thought and wish i had bigger pots for these phenos. wasn't expecting a "ryder" to get this size. Youngns are doing good. Got first dose of nutrients today. 2 days later than I wanted but it is what it is.tomorrow im gonna do a defoliation at 6 weeks. here's some photos.

I was just watching Canuks seed to harvest last night to brush up and he talks about this being a ph issue as you can see from your runoff. I am not sure flushing would fix the issue, would think using ph up to bring your soil back up to being less acidic would be the best solution.
