Hi peoples

Hot day today in uk . 27 degrees in my tent lights off and no heater.( loft ). She loved it.

Anyway, i feel like I’m hanging on by a thread with my first grow, and don’t really know how she came this far lol. But she’s 21 days today so thought I better tie her down a little, she’s also getting a bit of a bush on her. Lmao omg you guys up top should start an innuendo thread for shits and giggles there are so many, .” She took everything I gave her until she started dripping out the bottom”. Ect. Sorry I digress, just put one out.

Back to it, I could only do very minimal lst as the plant is very short and bushy and looking through other grow diaries of this strain she can get extremely bushy. ( zkittlez OG - barneys ) so all I’ve done for now is put an anchor in and bent down the main branch, no side branches seemed worthy of tying down yet so I just gently bent them over for now. I was just after a few right and wrongs do,s and dont,s from you guys really. Cheers for reading.

Great grow man, she looks pretty good for day 21 size-wise and also looks pretty healthy to me. Mind I ask, how much perlite are you using? Haha seems like 80%?! Personally I like to be a bit more aggressive on the LST but to each their own. The best of luck on your grow and remember that the first grow is usually the most stressful but also the most beautiful. It gets way easier with every next crop. Cheers!

Hey bud , thanks for the kind words and encouragement, I feel like I’m gonna loose her at every turn, and almost have lol.
true does look like a fare bit of perlite but it’s a pre mix 70/30 coco lite with 1% Charge, made by ecothrive, uk.

Yeah man it does seem like the plant will die at any moment but trust me it wont. On my first grow I broke the tip off of the main tap root, had earwigs eat my leaves a lot, regularly overwater it to the point of algae growing on my soil, then regularly underwater to the point my soil had dried down at least a fingers depth, feed it with nutrients that were definitely not made for MJ, had spider mites and a bit of bud rot. But in the end the plant pushed through all of my abuse and I got like 18g's of dried bud and I was very happy with the buds, the best I ever smoked. Now I'm trying out indoor growing and my plant looks 10 times better and I'm really getting the hang of it.
If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll get very good results.

Now I'm trying out indoor growing and my plant looks 10 times better and I'm really getting the hang of it.
If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll get very good results.

Heck, this morning, I went to check on the girls, and I realized I had forgotten to turn on the exhaust fan in the room my tent is in, so the temp was 92F/33C. Will that impact the yield, yes, but will they continue growing and producing bud, yes. Don't believe me? Look at this leaf I took a picture of just now, and the bud (yes, agreed that this isn't ideal, but it is what it is while I dial things in):

Buds are lookin frosty mate, and the colors are just amazing, kind of regret getting NYC diesel as my first strain due to the lack of colors and the uninteresting taste. When do you plan on harvesting?

Thanks! The seed was a freebie from Roc Bud Inc, and it came as part of an "auto mix," so I have no idea which strain it is.

I'm at the start of week 6 since sprout, so my hunch is another 4 weeks maybe? All of the trichs are clear, the vast majority of pistils are still white, and the buds still have some swelling up to do.
