Muddy's advice is almost right on all the time but I can't imagine not having some Mi5 in there. The Mi5 and crosses of it still are main stays of my grows.

My wifes favorite at the moment is Blue Hymalaya whick she loves for the flavour and stone. I don't think Muddy is that crazy about that one.

Just goes to show even us experienced auto growers can disagree. You will form your own opinions as you go and then you can share with us. People's experience with the different types of pot they grow is still my very favorite part of this site and I wish there was more on here. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone culd just send there experience with the different types and you could just look it up and read about the type yoou are interested in.

Nelson, I do believe those 2 strains you recommended will get way to tall for his grow space. Nice you chimmed in but chime in with the whole thread...

Sorry New Hope, I don't want to get off topic here...

And Ohhhh yeeeeh the box started to build!!! here is a pics: IMG_0048.jpg
100X130X(100/128)

of course is not finished yet.
just try to join the parts that i already have.
I need to do next, is a skicc:
IMG_00482.JPG

it will need a lot of work.
in the box bottom, and the sides (maybe 10-20 cm hight) get a foil cover. (deffense a water, to get out in the down, if something get wrong. After the foil the bottom get laminate flooring (like in the pics 2 side).
the joints will filled by silicone paste.

Also, Muddy is right. But there are also different pheno's in all ganja strains. That's half the fun. Seeing what pheno you get. Some might be sativa dominate, others in the same strain, my be indica dominate.

One more suggestion. Don't grow more that 3 auto's on your first grow. If your trying to water 6 to 9 plants at once, it can get a bit crazy. So stick w/3 and if that goes well, increase the plants by one each grow and see how you do...

When you say foil I hope you are referring to mylar and not aluminum foil. Aluminum foil does not reflect light evenly and should not be used. You would be better off painting the inside white instead of using aluminum foil.

oh sry i use the wrong expression.
In the beginning of the topick i write i use mylar fouil in the inside, just dont draw in this skicc (like vent holes, lamps....)
what i want to say is the floor will laminate flooring and on the laminere floor (just the buttom and the sides (maybe 10 cm high) simpel foil. i want to do this couse if any trouble happened (water flow out or something) it cant get out of the box.

TY ripster!
why do you told is so hard? watering plants?

I think what ripster means is that caring for 6-9 plants can be overwhelming for a new grower. Some of them will probably need water and nutrients on different schedules than others, and if you have problems like pests it can get out of hand quickly. If you only grow a few plants, they're easier to take care of, and if you discover a serious problem with your setup you don't have as much at risk. I'm in my first grow right now, and just dealing with two plants is causing me enough stress as I learn.

Perfect Andy. You took the word right out of my mouth.

NH, Andy hit the nail on the head dude.

You might want to look around and see if you can find a piece of vinyl floor covering to put on the floor. When I built my box I went to the carpet store and asked if they had a vinyl remnant I could buy. They took me in the back store room where they had a pallet full of pieces left over from jobs. They let me pick what I wanted and didn't charge me anything. I think they were glad to get rid of some of it.

Once I had it glued down I took silicone caulk and caulked the edges, running the caulk about 1/2" up the walls. When I water I just let it run out on the floor and the caulk keeps the walls dry. Usually by the next day it has evaporated.
