First time grower, full of doubts - Also sort of a growth journal

The plants will do what they do with the soil. The amount of soil may be your ultimate limiting factor. The general consensus is to plant in the pot you are going to finish in. I have seen very successful auto growers who transplanted. If I was going to transplant I'd do it sooner than later. You may be able to move them now and not affect them at all if much as you can scoop everything the roots are in and relocate them. Not saying you should just that you should go with what you have or make the move. I plant my Autos in 5 gallon pots. I think 7 would be better but tent is too small. I definitely agree that the medium should be to the very top at planting if for no other reason than it will settle. My 5 gals settle 3" or so with coco. Next planting I will mound the center up over the top and fill in the edges as it settles. That way I can add soil without burying the stem. To that end if you have leggy seedlings you can add soil and bury the stems a little. Once you have an established plant you do not want to bury the stem.
Just thoughts. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure that AN's B-52 isn't intended for seedlings. That might be part (if not all) of the problem.
Seedlings dont need nutes. Very sensitive. I got lucky with my dry ammendment in my mix. Though I went very light and used things like alfalfa, kelp, bat, etc. And a very light 444.

They are going to hit the 1st week mark today. They are growing, creating new leaves and making the existing ones bigger. Since this is my first grow i have no frame of reference, but they won't be getting any more nutes until they reach the second week, at least. Probably a bit more. I'm pretty sure that they have around 11 liters of soil per pot, and i think it's going to be a waiting game from now on. When i checked on them yesterday (i'm away for now, my SO is taking care of the girls) they seemed really happy, expanding the leaves and getting stronger on the stem. I'm still not sure of the right distance for the light (TGL Star 100), but i have it at 50 cms, more or less. Later this week i'll post some more pics and i hope you guys can tell me if they look pretty (they seem beautifull to me). I'm holding on watering by now because the soil still have some humidity. The RH is around 70%, but i've seen people here with less RH at this stage. Just hoping that i can get that right as they grow. Thanks for the opinion and support, AFN really has a community feel.

Seedlings in soil don't need nutes but they do need very light nutrient when growing hydro. I just thought I'd mention that for clarification purposes in the event that someone looking to get into hydro reads this thread.

RH is fine. Dont water the pots. Just water the seedlings. I.E. a half cup of w

Yes I agree. He definitely has nutes. Don't want him to overdo it. I add beneficials need to limit NPK. Dont think we need NPK 1st week for sure. Probably more like 2 weeks.
IMO

Hi guys. So i'm wondering about air flow in the grow tent. I have a VK 125 (air extractor) but i do not have any "intractor". Should i get one or opening the lower "hole" in the tent is enough? RH around 70%, for now, and temp around 20-22 C. Thanks

LEDs I assume? If so Temps could definately be higher. 70% RH is fine for young plants. Lots of people are hung up on VPD. Me not so much. Not that I'm right. Just that there are so many other potential limiting factors it is one that ranks low on my priorities. I try to get close to a good balance of heat and humidity but I do not stress out over it. I am running a perpetual grow with plants in flower and veg so I need to keep my humidity around 50% my temps are about 25-26°. No where near a good VPD. Vegies are growing like crazy. Venting is environment control. You have to figure it out. Too hot? Place a small fan by the lower vent and pull air in. Adjust the exhaust for resulting positive pressure etc etc...

VPD is venting per ? Or something else? So, if i understood correctly i should make it hotter, like 25º C, and after the third week (more or less) reduce the RH to 50%-55%. Thanks again

Vapor Pressure Deficit. look it up. Good to know.
Reduce RH when you are in flower. Plants will tell you.

Thank you. I had no idea about this. Starting tomorrow i'll try to control the VPD and ask my SO to keep and eye on things when i'm at the office.
