New Grower First time grow with 'Early Miss'. Photo and time lapse video:-)

ROTFL! You guys....hahaha! Usually *I* have a dirty mind and for some reason I totally looked over that perfect stripper name! LOL! Oh myyy! I will check if it's unsulphured:-)
As for the size of the pot....I am not quite sure. I just cleaned up my pink planters I had outside. Maybe a bit more than a gallon? I know 3 gallon is probably better....next grow:-)

Update!
A day shy of week 5, I finally get the PH meter calibration solution. My tap water is 6.6, and my soil is 5.6! Yikes, a bit low methinks. Guess I'll be doing the PH up thing....though I am pretty nervous! I don't wanna mess it up anymore than it is!

Todays pics! Finally flowering a bit better....do you guys thing these ladies are on time? Week 5 and it's advertised as 7 weeks....ugh. I have a feeling it's going to take a lot longer!!!!

5.6?! Yowza!! Those are hydro numbers! Glad you got that meter so you can better monitor your pH levels. I'm betting that will make a huge difference in your next grow. Finish up strong and get some good buds!

Do you think that is stunting their growth?! GAH! Brutal! I think next time, I will try hydro, LMFAO!
:-)

ARGGGG! For sure doing hydro next time, PH with soil is a real PITA! Anyone have any advice? A few questions:

1. So as I posted before, the PH of my water is 6.6. Would that not up the PH in the soil? I'm looking at videos online on how to use the PH up and down and it says to make your water the correct measure....but my water IS correct. Does that mean I have to raise my water to around 7.7 to make the soil the correct PH?

2. I am guessing I can mix the PH up with the calmag? It came in today thank goodness and I've already watered them with it, so hopefully that helps!

3. I have the BlueLabs PH testing meter for soil, which I am seeing is maybe a bit different from the one used with hydro. I didn't take the PH measure from the water in the bottom dish of the pot (I don't want to drown my plants, plus I am still trying to treat for these darned fungus knats which I think are now under control). Is it ok to take the PH from the actual soil or should I water them until the water comes out the bottom and test that instead?

4. Persephone (taller one) has the slight nute burn but not the calcium brown spotting. Serena has the calcium spotting but not so much of a nute burn (just a very slight bit). Both plants are getting the very bottom sets of leaves turning yellow. Is this a problem or is this normal?

Thanks again guys! Ahhh, I thought I was doing so well....and then all these darned problems. *headdesk*

For number 2. You can mix your calmag/water and then ph the water. It should all mix just fine. The higher you want the soil ph the higher the water going in needs to be. Next time you should consider adding some dolomite garden lime to your soil. It pretty much ends ph problems.

star you have any garden lime? just scratch it into the top of the soil and water it in. the lime just stops the swinging and for my soil just runs it at 7.0 dry i water in at 6.0 5.9 and it just rises from there. don't be stingy with the lime get some in there ..

Thanks guys, awesome....looks like I will be heading out again to buy more stuff! The Garden Lime looks to be a really good idea! I'll save my ph up/down for the spring when/if I go Hydro. Will post updates soon....hopefully the Cal/Mag starts to take effect soon!
More fungus gnats have been caught on the sticky paper. I turned the fan off and that seemed to bring them out. Little buggers!

Thanks again!!!!

Well, I think the CalMag is doing something good, because they are having more vertical growth after they had stalled out for a bit. WOW! Flowering also going well, leaves are starting to look better. I still have to pick up the lime and deal with the PH issue, hopefully will get some today or tomorrow!

Persephone: 13" tall
Serena: 11" tall

Edit: Also clipped a couple of the bottom leaves that were turning light....they weren't doing much for the plant anyway I don't think....
