Yessir it sure does. They love that. Do you have a water heater inside? Or a cable box, oven with a pilot light, somewhere safe but near or on top of the hood of your light. That's what I do. All of those create enough heat to use.
I soak mine for 24 hours give or take a few hours. I have a little square tupperware that I taped up to keep the light out and I size a paper towel and place it in the bottom and spray it until moist, put my beans down in there after the soak and then place another sized paper towel over that, mist it down and close the lid. I set it on top of my Tek lamp on the corner, it stays nice and warm and dark because of the tape. Just make sure it stays moist and doesn't dry up, and that it is dry on the outside of the container before putting it up there so it doesn't get on the light, and that it's not too hot, it will not work for some lights, but my Tek lamp(cfl) is just warm enough. I get great germ rates.
