This looks like the proper setup for my space. Five plants in three gal is just to tight. My brother runs LOS and after watching Old boys Sams Fucking Monster, I'm soon to be a convert. Looking forward to watching your grow.

Also reading you are getting some worms .... as for feeding them you are going to wanna for sure include kelp, need, Karanja, alfalfa, malted barely and some composted poop, if possible, in their diet!

Thanks OB for looking out. Picked up some kelp, now I imagine all these foods are pulverized to powder to make them more available to the worms. Brother is a beer brewer so I got malted barely covered. Where can I pick up the karanja and alfalfa?Thanks again

Check feed store for alfalfa meal and / or get raw alfalfa as for Karanja local nursery may have but mine didn’t and I ordered a 40lb bag from Planet Earth for $65 but they were going out of biz or at least selling their biz so not sure where else to get .....

Yes, smaller the food easier for worms to digest but they also break down larger mass ..... one more food item needed is rock dust - rock dust aids in their digestion .....

Not sure of ingredients of that product if your talking this:

And it maybe just fine - concern is they don’t list ingredients rather they say is a carefully blended mix ..... Having said that I do believe it’s a good usable product and has value .....

Myself, have a very large yard and outdoor plants all over the place so a 50lb. Bag is easy to justify at $98 shipped or even $110 shipped as that around $2 a pound ... I buy my kelp from feed store at $1.75 pound and neem on line from PlantNatural https://www.planetnatural.com/ - got a 50lb bag shipped for $85, stoner memory on that but price was good ..... About $2 pound is average for these amendments .....

You wanna make darn sure of the source, it is very important as quality varies and when you see the words:

Proprietary Blend - AVOID as that means we put stuff in there and we ain’t going to tell you what’s in our “Flippin Secret Blend” - OB calls BS and walks!
