Hey guys thought i would start a journal since this will be first indoor grow. I will be using Memphisto genetics,FFOF soil, Advance Nutrient PH perfect Grow Micro Bloom as base line with Carboload,Over Drive, Voodoo Juice,B-52, Big Bud. Will amend FFOF soil with coarse perlite, and some aged compost from my pile i started last year. My original plan was to start beans early April with 3500 Autocobb in my 24X24X60 tent (I know it's tiny but this is a stealth grow and all the room i had to hide in the tent)and transition outdoors in May and finish in June. But we all no how addicting growing is and i can't wait!! So I'm going to drop a bean or 2 and keep in in 8" pot to play with test my environment inside the tent. Tent will be in basement that stays about 62 degree F. Have small heater on timer to keep hopefully keep my temp up while the girls germ and veg. Have a few pics of my hiding place. I built small shelf to keep tent off floor, insulated my room insulation and carpet so hopefully the wife won't hear fans running or smell anything. I'm pretty new to this site so don't no anybody to tag. Any and all idea's are welcome as well as anybody to tag that will be helpful along the way. Thanks!

I mean, hiding from wife sucks, but it sounds like you've thought things out pretty well. That autocob light should also help to keep things a bit warmer in such a small tent. What are you doing for ventilation/smell managment?

I ordered 6 inch inline fan and carbon filter last week. After opening and trying to get it set up i realized the filter takes up way to much room inside the tent. So then i tried to hang it outside tent but with water pipes and hot water heater there just ain't enough room for that 14 inch huge ass filter in my room! So i put 6 inch inline filter and fan back in the box and put it on stand by. Figure when my shop gets built I'll buy bigger tent use that fan and filter for flower tent keep small tent for seedlings and early veg. I ordered 4 inch in line fan and filter that is hopefully here today. Think i will drop Mephisto Forgotten Cookie bean on Sunday night and start week 1 on Saint Patrick's day. My only concern is that with how small my tent is the cookie girl will might take up to much light for me to be able to start other beans inside the tent before the weather gets nice enough for me to take Cookie outside to flower and finish. I live in Northern Missouri and we get snow in April on some years. Which is why I'm thinking i will keep growth limited to a small 8 inch pot for first lady. I have some 3 and 5gal fabric posts i will use once the warm weather in May hits. Looks like have enough room for four 3gal pots to start in tent and move them outdoors around the middle of May. Only time well tell. Any thoughts?

Awesome hiding spot!!! Welcome @HotLoad . I am in for the journey!!! Curious to watch a FFOF grow. I was looking for some in my area couldn't find it didn't want to pay out the nose for it online...I opted for my own special blend of soils....1 part MG Palm and cactus potting mix 2 parts organic potting soil mix 1 part perlite and 2 cups lime for 2 3 gallon smart pots.....and happy with my results so far!! I have had some great advice from the people in this group.... you came to the right place!!!

Dropped 2 Memphisto beans in distilled water Sunday put in wet paper towel after they cracked Monday morning. Came home from work had 1/4 taproots so they went in Jiffy Pellet. Came home Tuesday they both emerged with helmets on. Have a small heater on a timer that comes on 76 and off 82 but my humidity was 10%. Have 3500 Auto cob in opposite corner 40 inches from the seedlings so light is not pointed directly at them. They are on 20/4 schedule. Been putting plates of water wet sponges inside tent and looks like it raised my humidity to 45%, they are no taller today than yesterday. Hoping my humidty was to low and i have fixed that. I also put them in 8" pots with FFOF soil/ aged compost with some dash of myccoarse perlite with 5 ML water and a little
