Indoor First Indoor Grow Under Lights

.... 2 years is no biggie for seeds, unless stored under suboptimal conditions,... As you've seen here, on rare occasion, an auto-- won't! :slaps:.. and so usually treating them like photo's is done to help drop a hint,... These girls need a hint! :roflcry: ..maybe drop the light hours even more; I've seen some go down to 12/12 even! A straight smack of the orchid food might be the ticket as well,...:goodluck:.... yeah, OD grows and the vermin,... and veg'ing canna' is all but defenseless-- where you're at, it's a rough neighborhood too! :twist:

...'Case, personally, I think a little bit of N is critical, especially to avoid sucking down the fans early,... what with all the mass being packed on, influenced by all the nutes and supp's... I ran a little experiment with a Moonstone this year,... gave it a good start, then minimal inputs and no supp' lighting during bloom,...net output was reflected in kind! :pimp:

Another week, ho hum... "Munch..munch..munch

Not much action, but apart from some lower fan leaves yellowing on the NL (not so much the TD). Both ladies look really healthy. Adding some 10-52-17 to the feed mix caused a little localized leaf burn on the TD, but nothing to worry about. The NPK is close enough to Hawaiian Bud, so that puts my mind at rest about using it. :Aloha:

Anyway, here's what they look like today:

NL - Day 59

Height is 35", so hopefully that's it for vertical growth.

TD - Day 54

Now at 34", continuing vertical stretch.

Still stumped as to why flowering is taking so long, but the growth pattern is very similar to my previous outdoor grows (12/12 light here in the tropics). What I have now, compared to the outdoor grows, is about three times the foliage with the same late flowering. All my successful grows (TD, NL, AutoMazar, AutoBlueberry) have gone to 110 - 120 days, yielding an ounce of dried bud in each case. For four different strains from two breeders, using the same soil mix and ferts, to follow the exact same growth pattern means there must be an environmental factor. Whatever, if the ladies are happy, I'm happy. Just as long as they finish by Xmas. "Bailers Booya"

Cheers, bro. I'll try going to 18/6. :d5:

:Sharing One:howdy my friend! The shrubbery is still holding out on you? :hump: :rc: :crying: ...I'll see if I can whistle up a Guru for advise on this, okay? I just don't have the experience with ID lighting, and sex-stingy plants,... (plenty with reg' girls though..! :roflcry:).... I'm so rooting for you to get a killer harvest Canna', and you are as well poised as you can be!... are you talking nasty to them as well?...LOL!- don't laugh, I've seen it "work"! Cheers mate, I'm off to knock on a couple doors about this,...:stylez rasta smoke:

Nah, mate. I sweet talk all the ladies in my life. But I'll try anything once. :twist:

Thanks for looking out for me, bro. :pighug:

decreasing the hours of light and starting bloom nutrients are the two best ways to help trigger flowering. If 18/6 doesnt work you can try increasing darkness for 30 mins each night until it flowers or you hit 12/12

Thanks for looking in, evol. I started them on what bloom nutes I have available almost a month ago. I'll try reducing the light as you suggested.

NL - Day 65

NL - Day65.jpg NL - Day65a.jpg

Still no action. Lighting down to 14/10. Only feeding 10-52-17. Some localized leaf clawing going on, can't tell if it's over-watering or N toxicity.

TD - Day 60

TD - Day60.jpg TD - Day60a.jpg

Still stretching, now at 39". Feeding 10-52-17 every second day (plain water on other days).

Going to 12/12 from today.

Canna', how are ya my friend?....shit, has it been 10 days already??- sorry for the lagg brudda,...*** :pimp: damn those stubborn bitches! please, be careful with the orchid food,... are you diluting the dosage, and making a blend with the other bloom formula? reduce the frequency too, mate... don't want to create a P-toxicity issue! It'd be good to get more K in there,.. but we don't know what that value is in that food! :slaps: ....clawing is more likely the N,.. overwatering would have them drooping,... *sigh*... I'll ask another guru to look in my friend,... going 12/12 is worth a try,....LOL!- otherwise, they're fine-ass ladies!
... I'm toast tonight!... off to PM a guru, then soon to bed,... :tiphat: ..check in later!
