New Grower First indoor grow: LindaSeeds GG#4 and Gelato 33 under Mars SP3000

Seeds should be 5$ or less no matter wat imo and I hope to see a day where they are 1$ each reguardless or variety ect this hole lets sell stuff to get rich and make a killing on is crazy and I ruining the culture love seeing these are such good quality means there's hope yet. Super excited for the smoke reports @WildBill and with ur attention to detail those will be a good read. Any thoughts on ur next grow? strains and you were thinking earth box if I remember correctly right? If so should be wild def interested to see the next one.
I'm still up in the air on what beans I'm gonna crack, other than being Meph beans.
Here's what I have.
3 Bears OG
Hubbabubbasmelloscope
Double Grape
Sour Stomper
3 Bears OG X Double Grape
Northern Cheese Haze X Sour Bubbly
[Sour Stomper X CDLC] X Forum Stomper
Fugue State

On my other thread about picking my next girls, I stated that I wanted to grow something big when mature to fully use the "powa" of the EarthBoxes. A couple of guys have suggested Hubbabubbasmelloscope. The Meph Strain guide backs up the size. I'd kinda like to try my hand at a big sativa and knowing it will be big and thin stemmed, thank you MissWispy! LOL! The guide says she'll take all forms of manipulation and that's great with me.
I'm still up for suggestions!

I'm ready to experience the fully cured GG#4 unadulterated vape...........haven't smoked since purchasing the HerbalAire pop22 recommended after asking his opinion. Great little table top vape!

All seed growers are about the hype of newest and best, hence the price they can garner. The "newest, bigger and best" and "Keeping up with the Jones" mentality is a old and well used sales tactic that really began after WWII and it's pure Americana in origin. These seeds speak for themselves. The test buds of the GG#4 says it's a stout herb. It bit me in the ass again a little bit ago. Got medicated before going to physical therapy, came back home to relax on the couch after two little vapes................bam! Out like a light after the herb relaxed my muscles. Pure bliss interrupted, thankfully, by the phone. I NEVER nap in the day. LOL!
I'll grow my Meph and see what I and my Vet friend like. I'll grow them again and make my own seeds from the wealth of info and knowledge on this forum. I'll still buy from Linda Seeds and I'll probably buy from boutique growers, but only if I find them particularly interesting for one or more of their unique attributes. If I or my friend needs something stronger, I'll make some sort of concentrate. No big deal.

Yesterday I got in the final things for the next grow in EarthBoxes and my modded soil mix has been cooking for a while in a tote.

Yeah...........I'm still high. :eyebrows:

Sweet man hubbabubbasmelloscope is a big girl for sure and never saw 1 in an earth box I love my squach24 and gorilla squach I've seen a few northern cheese haze x sour bubbly that were big also. Should be cool to see wat you can do in an earth box. Wat I meant with the seeds thing is if breeders were continuing the lines you could select different phenos ect making a new line I'm hoping to do this myself with a few aswell as just continue with 1 pheno kinda like your 2 glues if pheno hunted for both separately anyways love seeing that your going to run something from that list all are a good smoke I'm sure.

I'd grow either of the glues again. If I selfed a Miss Wispy pheno, would most beans be like her?

Ya basically I mean obviously things get jumbled around but generally ya very similar the timing is hard part but with how many weeks of flower there are it should be no problem

Yeah..............unlike now. LOL!

My neighbor wanted to know the size of the gelato, her fav, so I took a pic. I can easily palm a basketball. :eyebrows:
She said her mouth was watering. LOL!
Buds are rock hard about the first 5in, but the leaf to bud ratio is pretty crazy.

Sometimes ya just have to laugh! I finally get the water consumption of the 15gal GG#4 "reset" and back to regular water usage.......................two days before chop after over 10 days of trying to get it fixed.

And to top it off.................................damn gnats are back!!!!!:rofl::nono:

I thought I broke the cycle! I may have, but they may be coming from my worm bin. I kinda doubt it though.
Well, it's gonna snow again in the grow room and bottom water it is!

Like I said, Ya gotta laugh!

As of this morning, no gnats. So the DE will remain on top and bottom feeding and watering until all girls finish. F gnats!

I think the two Linda Seed GG#4 may have a nitrogen sensitivity or their root system is more sensitive to gnat larva or it could be a combo of the two. The soon to be chopped GG#4 is still fattening and firming buds and still showing some new growth. And with a watering of almost 2 gallons that she took up very quickly, I think the malted barley little concoction tea may have done the trick and help clean up and reset of sorts the root system. But I think it's a smaller system now. It may just be a semi-normal end of life leaf fade I'm seeing, but I do think it was influenced by the gnat problem. Miss Wispy is showing somewhat similar leaf fade, but there is the light burn/stress she got when I didn't adjust the light situation quick enough. She's still growing her buds quite nicely. I don't see changing any thing with her. I'm gonna disect the rootball of both girls once chopped to maybe gain some insight on what happened.

When I chop the other GG#4, I will move Miss Wispy to the front under the SP3000 mainly, move the Gelato to the back, take the platforms from the chopped and raise up the Gelato. Both Miss Wispy and the Gelato have done well in the rear of the tent. This move should capitalize on bud production on the more numerous bud site in Miss Wispy.

The Gelato33 has trucked thru this with no signs of problems in the leaves. Her buds are swelling and growing with each day. Her water consumption has returned to close to what I perceive as "normal". She looks VERY healthy and the frost is piling up very nicely on bud and sugar leaves. The only negative I can say about this strain is the sugar leaf to bud ratio. It's just crazy high and I'm expecting a pain in da azz when I trim her. I REALLY can't see me wet trimming her. This girl is VERY sticky! When her chop time comes, I think I'm just gonna light trim, section her and place in paper bags. The dry should be a bit slower than the GG#4 and I'll hit her with the Canna brush when she's at the proper moisture level.

I'm surprised by the amber in your GG at 83 days. All your ladies are looking great!

I put my GGs in the 12/12 tent and stretch started today. Now these are only in 1 gallon pots.... I measured the tallest one today and she's 31" tall! I'm debating transplanting her at this late stage bur she's so tall that when the pot dries, she tips over!! LOL!
