New Grower First indoor grow: LindaSeeds GG#4 and Gelato 33 under Mars SP3000

I've looked this up several times and I do not find one shred of science to support this claim. Stress.... maybe, but mostly it is genetic and there isn't anything you can do to prevent it. I've found no proof N has anything to do with it. And I have grown maybe 40 strains so far with Megacrop start to finish I've had one plant foxtail. From what I have read it is most common in Sativa/Indica hybrids that are 50/50 or higher in Sativa. I've not confirmed this but it makes more sense than blaming N.

Iirc too much nitrogen in late flower can cause foxtailing. At 22 inches and 85 F it shouldn't be light or heat I think.

If it is foxtailing, I can't figure one stressor I've injected.

I've had two sativa's foxtail. There weren't any issues with either and the tails were just as good as the rest of the plant. Both strains had Panama in them.

I dunno. I'm beginning to think it's just normal bud growth.
Still getting good upwards and bud growth and had to move up the light this morn. Getting more frosty by the day. That test bud has me excited for a dried and cured smoke/vape! I crank my exhaust fan when working on the girls because they are REALLY putting on the "canna funk" and it still spills out to the next room. LOL!
Just watered the girls yesterday, time was tight with a car makeover, detail and coating needing to be knocked out. Keeping the humidity down and good temps is still a work in progress to keep it steady. It just takes a lot of tweaking throughout the day. It makes me wish I had a dedicated room out in the shop! I think the next grow will be easier to maintain things.
Gonna check buds today with the new scope. It's day 64 for the Gelato33 and day 59 for the 15gal GG#4. Their time is growing close! Miss Wispy is still growing upwards, but is still building buds nicely, but still no frost. I'll check her with the scope today. I suspect she will go quite a bit longer. 80-90 days wouldn't surprise me.
Time to give my new worms another canna smoothie. I'm gonna malt some barley and mix it with the leaves from an earlier trim. They do seem to prefer the leaves made to a smoothie, probably because it's in a better form for them to use.

Yeah, Earthboxes are in my future. One less thing to worry less about is good in my book!
