New Grower First Grow, South Texas: WOS Pakistan Ryder/Strawberry Blue

My Momz has been using the ice trick for decades. She saves every Cool Whip, Sour Cream, I can't believe anybody would think this shit is butter container she gets. Makes ice pucks and puts them about 1in away from the stem. She is in the Spring/Woodlands area and has some kind of Master Horticulturist degree from the A&M extension. Her yard is amazing.
By the time the water gets to the roots, it will be near 70 degrees. You would be wise to follow her lead. She has stuff in her 1 acre yard that is NOT supposed to be able to grow here. Sadly, she is not on board with the chronic!

Ha! Thats awesome! I am freezing ice now as we speak!!! I am an Aggie Alum. so even better!

You'll be very pleased with the quality of ya paki ryder.....it's been a while since the grow ya mentioned, but I do sooooo remember the pungent aroma whiel in flower and how it's stink the house up so fast....my middle Son told me I had a skink nest too close to my house !!!
I've been very impressed with the world of seeds offerings in autos AND photos....I had a WOS New York 47 (hybrid of Pure ak47 & new york power diesel) which was finished by a friend while I was o n the mend recently and it it the stinkingest most pungent skunk aroma....got even MORE pungent while curing........that is so reminescent of those Paki ryders....
Hope some of those tricks for cooling aroudn ya babe will help....

I'm diggin the ice trick, I grow outdoor in the central Cal where temps are already 90+ and easily reach over 100. Recently I moved my babies to where they receive shade in the heat of the day and thats helped

^I was thinking that too. My ph hovers right between 7 and 6.5. I dont see how they "cant" eat. Maybe I should feed it some guano tea?

Why do you say they look hungry? I mean, how can you tell? Thanks.

Edit: Just went out and checked my soil pH and it is at 7 exact. I know that not optimal but it should be able to uptake nutrients right? If so, should I start feeding? The leaves are yellowing from the tips on back from the lower leave on up...Nitrogen defeciency? Shes in flower now so I am thinking of feeding high N and high P Peruvian Seabird Guano...any advice?

She smelled skunky in veg but now she smells skuky and minty! I hope she doesnt die now...Johnnycannabis seed freaked me out with his thoughts/advice.

I do have 2 WOS Strawberry Blue growing and I have 1 WOS Kilimanjaro 100% landrace Sativa on the way. Hope I harvest something...if anything.

I think jcs was trying to point out yellowing of the bottom leaves; indicates the plant isin need of nitrogen, a tea should give them a healthy boost

FML.

I was actually wrong. My soil pH is 7.3. What the heck do I do? The bottom leaves are falling apart now and fearing the worst. Also, I already fed her the guano tea (1 tbls. guano/rainwater)...So most likely I just killed her...What can I do to lower my pH without re-potting/transplanting to proper pH'd soil. I was thinking of switching up to RO water since they have an acidic pH (5.5-6) to help buffer/get it in the right range...please help!

Go to your local shop and they can help you out, its a pretty easy fix. I grow organic by adding peat moss (acidic PH) to the top lair of soil, mix it in and water it. Also there are plenty of other chemical options for lowering PH.

Don't trip tho, even tho your beautiful plants are turning yellow all it means is that the new growth is sucking nutrients out of the older leaves. Fix the PH add some nute and you'll be back in the game
