Sorry to thread jack but real are you planning to do the whole grow on your windowsill?

hi realcarlos

Yes,I am curious how mutch can produce the PK rider in the windowsill, she gets plenty of direct sunshine and she likes that mutch :D (~9 hours) ... in the meantime I will start soon a 250w(125w 6500k + 125w 2700k) cfl grow with another PK rider. I want to compare the results ,experimenting ...

Groing weed in the window sill, hahaha, doesnt get much better than that!

I left my SB out since last night since she broke ground. Today it got as high as 87 F and she really pulled through like a champ! She grew at least a whole 1 inch overnight and is already developing her first set of true leaves! This thing is looking like it has potential. I really hope she is Sativa dom. though. I would make a killer smoke.

I know my grow is kind of like watching a snail cross the road...hahah...I will post a pic when things get moving.

I would like to hear from exp. growers though. I hope I am doing things right so far. As you can tell, I am just doing things on the fly and hoping for the best. This is my first grow. Actually, this is my first time growing anything so this is all really new to me. So far it has been lots of fun! Some direction from the OGs would be nice! Thx.

Slight update since I got some batteries for my camera!

WOS Pakistan Ryder @ Day 7:

This baby is vigorous! It does look like it is slightly getting into a lighter shade of green, that or I am just paranoid..as usual.

WOS Strawberry Blue @ Day 3:

This one has been out in 88+ F for its entire life. Not really developing super fast but it looks healthy and I have full faith in this baby!

Still not exciting, I know. But for me, this is a whole new world and a fast growing hobby! I am having tons of fun so far watching them grow! I hope you guys like my babies!

Looking good so far .. your pk rider is evolving fast :hump:
Are you using some ferts bro?

I suck at this.

So.

I fucked up. The soil I was using has serious pH flucuation issues. I transplanted them to another bag or Light Warrior. pH is now a sold 6.6. That is when the problems began...the tranplants was fine, no signs of stress or anything but for some reason I forgot to add perlite to my new soil mix and am having severe issues with soil compaction and I accidently ended over overwatering my Paki Ryder...she starting yellowing at the bottom on up...I was super pissed that I made such a huge mistake. I let her dry out for a few days and sure enough she started recovering beautifully, she is even showing her pre-flowers...THEN I was awoken at about 1 am today to heavy rains...FML. I ran outside and both my babies were drenched. Soaking wet. Now I am even more upset. I brought both plants inside put the Paki Ryder under my 250watt CFL to hopefully dry her up a bit with the heat/light.

The Strawberry Blue was actually ready for some water so I just put her on the windowsill to keep her out of the excess rain. She surprising did not show too much stress from transplanting. She is growing slowly each day.

None the less, here is my update, I know its sad but it is what it is...hopefully they will recover soon. I plan on germing 1 more PR, 1 more SB and 1 AKR...this time I will do it right hopefully.

Pakistan Ryder @ DAY 14: Look at how yellow she is...hopefully she will bounce back. Not holding my breath though.

Strawberry Blue @ DAY 9: Shes a slow grower but is growing a little everyday. I still have faith in her.

If you want those to really perform you should be keeping them inside under that cfl from the time they sprout until they show sex. That will help eliminate many of the problems you're having. If they're larger when they get put outside they can fight harder.

The PR has already shown sex. She is female. I would like to keep them inside but my cab can get up to 95 degrees with all my fans on...plus circulation isnt the greatest. The grow box is still somewhat unfinished since I planned on growing outdoors.

The SB grew a lot today. She is finally throwing out her 2nd leaf set.

The PRs leaves definately got longer and bigger today...but the bottom leaves are still pretty yellow. I have a feeling shes either going to hermi on me or produce like...an 8th, lol. Its whatever now.

hi all

Ego ,your PK is ok! Don't panic ... mine already has some white hairs :dance2: and the smell is yummmi :D .
Have been working since 2 days with my growroom and now I am ready with it. I want to put her under 2 x 125w/2700k/6500k cfl,I realized that in the windowsill the yield will be too low.

.. but I have a problem: don't have anything against the smell and I don't know what can I do because I am very low on money right now
