But I only have regular seeds. Wouldn't the lighting schedule conflict with the regular seeds?
I was only planning on vegging the regular seeds for about a month, so that's why I was planning on waiting till maybe the beginning of December to pop the regular seeds. I don't have alot of height in my room, so I can't let them get too big. I do plan on LST them though. Was going to do a SCROG, but not sure how I'll set that up at this time.

depending on space I would wait till your SR are 4 weeks old then get those regs poped and do some lst.
You would supercrop lst or pinch your plant to get them ready to scrog (to get plenty of heads) this could easily take 2 months + in itself depending on plant numbers
SR are small plants so you should have plenty of space if your rooms 3x3

Cool, that sounds like a plan. I've have to search around and see what you mean by supercrop and pinch though.
Only LST I've really read about/seen is just tieing them down (which I was going to have to try and figure out how to do with Bags).

I'm just not sure how I'm going to build a screen for SCROG. I have some chicken wire, but that's about it. I'll hopefully figure something out.
I only have about 4' of height in my room under the HPS, so I wasn't sure if I needed to LST the SR also.
The one is very stinky now. Going to have to hook up my filter today. Most of my basement was stanky.

short ryders should be under 2ft I would not bother training. chicken wire is fine just get some pieces of wood and make a square the size of you room and staple chicken wire to it. if you install the screen now theres no reason why not to grow your sr through it at one side of your growroom.

Wow under 2 ft., That is short. Sometimes it's hard to judge how tall a plant is in pictures I've looked at.
I'll have to see if there's a standard for where to put the screen for a SCROG. Is it at a certain height above the plant or a certain height below your light? I'll have to look around and see if I can find that out.

in your situation i would work it 6" above your final photo pot and the colas will stretch 6-12" above this when you flip them into flower
this process takes a long time

I plan on making my screen tomorrow. My HPS light is permantently mounted so I can't lower it, so I'll need to find the best distance from light to put the screen and just raise my plants to it. It's a cool tube, so I was just going to keep the plants about 6-8" away from light (before I was thinking of SCROG). So if the Plants can grow an extra 12" above screen and I was going to keep plants 6-8" away that would mean the screen should be about 16-20" away from light, but that seems too far.
Well I've have to figure something out.
