I made so many incorrect assumptions during the front end of my first grow, it's obvious from the number of times my game plan changes in my journal. That's why this site is so important. It's information that dispels the anxiety. That, and feeling comfortable with your methods for attributing validity to that information. I feel like the first grow is specifically meant to be troublesome and pose problems, that's how we learn the best. The REACTION to those problems is a training process as well. It teaches us not to overreact or to react with too drastic of a change. I've been calling this "thinking on plant time"...when we think on social/human time, we want to enact change immediately and we want to see results immediately. Plants don't operate at that pace, so we end up overreacting and causing more problems. If we come up with a game plan for a correction then institute it in small increments so that we may observe what that correction is effecting, we are starting to think in "plant time"....at least that's my approach
