I put clay pebbles in the first four inches of my pot so that the roots sit more in the liquid with not much medium around them in the bottom. This makes it even more like hydro and from my experience makes it much easier to control if you are ok with hand watering. My Autopot system has a reservoir that holds 50l in case I want to go away for a few days. Depending on when I go during the process, sometimes they can last a full week without issue. I hardly ever go more than two days when I am in grow mode anyway. Nowadays, that's only twice a year. I have more weed than I can smoke, so I grow for different strains now, and for the fun of growing.

Got an update. I've flushed three times now with RO ph'd down to 6.5, then 6.0 the last one. Somehow each time I've tested runoff it's gone up. I went from 7.1 to 7.5 and now I'm at 8.0... lmao, how is this possible!

On a side note, idk how with all of these shenanigans going on, but I swear she's somehow fattening up a little bit...unless its this bowl on top of the couple beers I had...

Forget the runoff man. The peat decomposes as the water runs through it. Now just follow the steps and see what happens. Nothing else you can do really. Lime is next! Don't skip it and you still could get this girl to fatten up her flowers very nicely for you!

Well, she looks alright today. I have some green growth and the buds are frosting up and getting fatter. No idea how that's the case, but hey I won't complain! I will post pics in a little bit when I get home, thanks Med

She look happier than before though bro. Your doing fine. Those buds are going to be dank. Often the plants that have some troubles, the plant fights back with sending extra resins to combat the heat, and trichs production goes up as well. One of my best plants ever, in terms of bud quality, was on a plant that really struggled with lockouts, due to ph isssues and heat.
I am telling you man, those buds will be nice!
Just keep doing what we said, and all will improve.

Alright, I may need to use another lifeline here ha. So I got home today to a smelly house, this girl is starting to stink! I have a 4" fan and filter in my box on a variac at about 50%, is that too low? Any other reasons I could be getting such a strong smell throughout the house?

I guess the smelliness is a good thing? Meaning she's bouncing back from the previous issue! (Thanks again Med)
