Well, I harvested on day 58, possibly could have gonna day or two longer, but I wanted to make sure I chopped while the effect I was looking for was present.

I paper bag dried her and she's ready to go into the jar, however I'm pretty concerned as I seem to have lost that glorious sour crack smell during drying. All I smell is chlorophyll, will that go away in the cure and make way for the dank smell to come back?

Thanks man. That's crazy, I don't get how it's possible to go from absolutely dank smelling to barely smelling like bud at all. I know there's stank in there somewhere as I absolutely reek of it after opening the cabinet and checking on them, but up close it's kinda grassy and bland.

At what humidity do you feel comfortable closing the jar at? If I put them in at 70%, will they be ok with regular burping?

Yes. I shoot for 70% in the jar, slowly bring it down to 62ish, over the course of burping.

No worries, the smell will come back in the cure. Good luck and let me know how it turns out. Have you tried to smoke any of it yet? If yes, the taste might still be a little harsh, but the flavors should at least give you an idea of how she will taste later on.

I did, I sat a tiny nug out to dry and gave her a try. Definitely harsh as it wasn't fully dry, but the high was there and was great so far. Definitely the more "up" feeling I was looking for, and I'd imagine it can only get better following a proper cure.

This is making me feel much better. Buds should be dry when I get home, I attempted to jar them last night but after an hour on the jar humidity jumped up to 75% so I put them back in to the bag.

Let one or two of the smaller buds sit out and dry up almost crispy, then light that bad boy up in some glass if you have it. Glass will help take some of the harshness out too.
