I feel ya man, part of the reason I wanted to grow, tired of flavorless, smellless bud.

I've somehow yet to be able to pick out the diesel smell or taste, in any bud ha. I know I've smelled it and tasted it, but I have been unaware that's what it was.

Yep, that pez like or sweet taste is the green crack. That stuff can be really sweet on the exhale, and if you mix that with the diesel inhale blast you get from the sour diesel genetics, you will get something crazy good. I really love flavor. Half the time, I don't even get that high off of flower anymore anyway. I need to smoke hash or something really potent. That's not really what i am chasing anyway. I chase flavor profiles and finding unique rare phenotypes that have some great flavor or effects.

It will be interesting to she how her sister grows.

Diesel, of course, isn't what it is. It's this sour flavor mixed with the way it's aroma and flavor hits your nose not just your tongue. That's what gives it the fuely taste and almost feel. I could look up the terpenes name, but it is the same one in turpentine, and fermented sour fruit, that gives it these flavor notes. I am not a big fan of this alone, but I love it when it is combined in these new hybrid strains with sometimes four or five strains combined.

I'm hoping this pic doesn't get destroyed uploading, but can anyone help me out telling me what you see for clear vs cloudy? Looks mostly cloudy to me, but I can't tell. Also, I would like to try and get the most heady high out of this, minimal sedation, does the harvest when cloudy tactic work?

Harvesting when mostly cloudy does work. In my experience, in order to get mostly cloudy you will see a little amber. Rom what I can see in this pic, she looks to need a few more days yo a week, for your preference. Nice bud!

Thanks man! You told me what I wanted to hear ha. I'm slowly seeing more Amber each day, just onesie twosies. I almost had to chop early cause she's stinking up the house and the wife was not happy, but $50 and a diy carbon filter later and we're good ha. Thanks again

Yep, only a couple days away now! Gotta let me know how she tastes and smokes. I am guessing it is going to be some really nice herb. Good job getting her to the finish. It will be interesting to see how her sister turns out compared to her. Most likely a better yield, but not sure you will get the same smoke. I always learn from each grow I have and from other growers as well.
Enjoy bro, but do your dry and cure properly so you can enjoy her the way she was intended. Don't rush it! Sure, smoke maybe just a little up early, but try to get the rest properly cured.

Looking very tasty there mate she could get the chop today or a week from now it's personal preference I think I'm gonna chop mine at about the stage you are at when there is no clear trichs and a few amber , whenever you decide to chop you won't be disappointed she looks yummy !

Well, I harvested on day 58, possibly could have gonna day or two longer, but I wanted to make sure I chopped while the effect I was looking for was present.

I paper bag dried her and she's ready to go into the jar, however I'm pretty concerned as I seem to have lost that glorious sour crack smell during drying. All I smell is chlorophyll, will that go away in the cure and make way for the dank smell to come back?
