Day 21 ~~~

Day 22 ~~~ This morning I watered all of the pots until some runoff with yucca mixed in. I'm most likely going to remove the double grape and possibly the skywalker and redo those pots again because I don't see how they could possibly recover. There was probably something wrong with that soil mix

That sounds like a good idea, I'll give it a shot after I use up the rest of my Happyfrog
Seriously ? Ditch the Happy Frog, or do you think it is really working for you ?

And consider starting in solo cups. It is a lot easier to control watering for the first two weeks....

Cheers

tbh I don't have sufficient exp to tell if I messed up on mixing my soil for the plants that are lagging, or if I messed up the watering so I wouldn't really be able to say if happyfrog is working for me or not. I've seen grow journals using happyfrog and the bud looks great plus I got a bunch of it that's why I want to use it up. Don't get me wrong though I will def be trying a promix hp only pot soon

I'm a first time grower, so not much experience to speak of, and I cant give you a reason for your problems, but... I think blaming problems on the soil is easy to do(I surely did), but not necessarily correct or really helpful in learning how to address problems in the future. How much differently were your pots mixed up from each other? Are you sure you didn't water the smaller ones excessively to make them 'catch up? Is just genetics? I really dont know, but if some plants are done fine and others aren't, id think the soil wasn't the problem? Again others can answer better. Hope you're well gromie!

I'm trying Real hard to be positive and supportive here !

Chances are it isn't the mix but your watering that is the issue. Wet/dry is hard to judge in a final pot without some experience. Hence the suggestion of a solo cup. Very easy to pick up and judge how "wet" it is.

Once transplanted start with say 1L around the outside of the root ball. Slowly increase as it drinks it. It can take as long as a month to work up to 3L and then a full watering.

I don't like to see my plants stay "wet" for longer than three or four days. Adjust amounts as necessary.

The only issue I have with Happy Frog is determining when and how much additional food to give. That requires some experience in "reading" the plant. As I've said before, with ProMix HP you control the food Totally...

Whether you have a successful grow or not you Are Gaining Some Valuable Experience !

Point taken, but does it take more experience to pick up a pot and feel the weight wet vs dry or to properly transplant an autoflower without too much shock? :smokeout: :vibe:

I was thinking about that too. It seems like it's easier to just germinate in the final pot. I truly believe my ratio in the soil mixes were off not that the product itself is bad. I'm looking at all of the pictures and even the clover looks different in those three pots. the DG in the middle started off with slightly yellow clovers and the two SW's on the left had nothing growing out of it for a while, that's why I keep thinking that I didn't add enough HF to those three. I'll agree that my watering didn't help though because I watered till runoff on day 1, and then just kept the top soil moist until Day 21 where I watered to runoff again. I was supposed to water till runoff much earlier then that. I also had the lights a bit too high up in the beginning and that may have also stressed the plants.
