Congratz on the harvest. Beautiful lookin gals. Your journal was alot of fun to follow. So much in fact that I decided to change things up with my soon to be first grow. I will be using kind soil with roots organic and recharge. Thinking maybe mammoth p as well but unsure if that's a good idea or not bc of the kind soil...

I noticed you mention you would do a few things different. Would you mind sharing what that would be? Any tips on using the kind soil? Thanks in advance brotha! :goauto::pimp:

I'm glad you enjoyed man, thanks for watching with me. I'm not sure I'll go Roots Organic again after my bug issue and reading some of the negative reviews. I found plastic and other trash in it at one point that I know didn't come from me. I had to deal with thrips, leafhoppers, fungus gnats, etc and I was pretty cautious about being clean.
I'm not sure if the Mammoth P and Recharge were both a good idea or not with KS, but I read a lot of other similar grow journals where people had great results lol.

There was a lot I would do different, here's a few off the top. I was extremely impatient which I believe caused problems during germination, sprout, and basically every other phase lol. I had no idea how to water properly at first and kept switching between underwatering and overwatering. I learned go by the weight of the pot and the look/feel of the plant. For my next run, I'm definitely going with less plants and bigger pots. I also want to stabilize my grow temps, it was a real pain trying to grow in 93F lmao.

I don't really have any tips for the Kind Soil, just don't water too much. It was definitely an easy grow in the bigger picture, and I'm sure they would have turned out much nice with a proper start and less abuse. Germination problems, heat, bugs, abuse, fans falling, etc lol

Hey @seedstodreams I really appreciate you taking your time to give me such a detailed response. Mistakes happen and its awesome that as a community we can all learn from each other. Surely I am bound to make plenty myself during my first run. But hey that's life.

As far as KS, since you were unhappy with Roots Organic due to the insect problem. what is going to be you alterative base media for your next grow? Any ideas so far?? .... Thanks a bunch homie! :chimp:

Of course man, my pleasure. Shoot me a message when you start your grow, I'm interested in tagging along.

I actually want to give "Great Lakes Water Only Soil" by Detroit Nutrient Company a try. They're also local, and I've seen some great journals. Don't quote me on this because I still have to shoot out a few emails to clarify some concerns, but I believe it's just like Kind Soil without the need for a base like Roots Organic, etc.

If I don't go with that, I'll likely try KS again with Coco Loco soil. If I was growing in a bigger tent than a 2x2x4, I would probably make my own no-till soil

Sour Crack came down today and I trimmed her for curing, just for personal use so I was lazy lol. Came out to 17g which I'm actually surprised with given the circumstances

Lemon/Earthy smell but mostly hay for now lol. Smokes pretty good

Strawberry and Walter were ready today so I trimmed them up for cure. Lazy trimming on these too lmao. Both came out to 26g each :)

Strawberry smells really fruity, and tastes like berries. Super nice body high

Walter has a really strong lemon smell, and tastes like it too. Really good mix of head/body high
