I'm short about an inch and a half. So much for 48x48; more like 49.75x49.75.

lol, that is normal. They measure tents from the inside of the frame to the inside of the frame, actual growing room, not outside dimensions. My first one threw me as well. I have already built a frame to slide it in to and wound up having to split the upper 2x4's in half with a skill saw. Once I did that, it started sagging so I had to add 1x1 supports on the sides of the tent. Oh the joys of growing.

I can still build the SCROG to fit the tent by just laying out the tent base frame and taking my measurements from that. After I cut back the shelves, it'll all fit.

I had the opposite problem with my hoophouse last spring. Advertised size was 10' wide x 20' long,so I assumed that was the actual dimensions and built a treated 2x6 base the exact size. Ended up remodeling like you are going to have too. Oh well, we remodel and move forward right?

Your little one is looking real good now bro. Are you still going to cull Miz Dubya?

Thx Boss! I appreciate that! Yup, I'm gonna have to pop the shelves and cut about 1.5 " each and reset the vertical supports (left and right side of closet). Too big of a deal to play with right now. Suck it up, fix it up, move on.

Guess what? I'd forgotten about the seeds I soaked for 2 days then put in paper towels for a week or so (the last 5)? It looks like one cracked!! Go figure! Took a week and a half! If it lives, I'll keep it in a Solo hempy til I LST Miz Dubya, then put her in the bucket. Miz Dubya will slow down and give "Michelle" a chance to catch up a little. She's WAY behind. <snicker>

From the width of the leaves, she looks like sativa-indica hybrid. Thin & flimsy, but wide.

Miz Dubya seems to be kicking out new leaf sets daily. She's already putting out side branches without LST. Wonder if she could be auto? She's definitely hybrid.
Added a little more water to the res, but not much else.

Added an over-layer of hydroton to help stabilize the stem and finish covering what the growstones couldn't. Miz Dubya's moving right along with her first full set of leaves and another about to pop. No changes to the res for now. I will be checking it again this evening.



Some unusual leaf "markings". Any ideas?



Not sure if this is heat, nutes, or just a weird plant. Miz Dubya is a bit on the genetically handicapped side...

Thanks Willie! She's starting to kick off good! Her water uptake became noticeable yesterday and nute usage is becoming apparent as well. All is Good!

Hey brother, I have never seen that on any of my photo or auto leaves. Which ain't saying much.

I would post that picture in the hospital/infirmary section. I did that a lot with my first grow. Lots of good diagnosticians in there.

I for one will be interested to know what it is.

She's looking good though!

This morning I opened my door to the SMELL of piney skunk! Just a fleeting scent and it was gone. Damn! I could smell that for hours. Well, it's definitely obvious now that Miz Dubya is an indica hybrid. Her vigor has greatly increased as all her leaves were stretching toward the light this morning (that's a first) and she's setting new leaves daily.

No changes to the res, though my readings were different in ppm this morning; up 140 points. Might be related to res temp, have no clue why. Water levels in the res are coming down slowly. I won't give her any new until the water level is down where it needs to be. At that point, I'll change out the res and keep the level at the "marker". This will mean roots in the res by then.
