Thanks @whatever battles next and @Epicxr! I just went to check on the humidity and I'm quite pleased, 51% and 76° I don't think I can get it much more on point. Interestingly it seems the bump in humidity has cranked the smell to 11, as soon as I opened the tent, the room filled with the most wonderful combination of skunk, with a back note of fruit and herbs (something along the lines of cilantro or basil, a little hard to place), not much cheesy smell, but she's a little behind Bubbles at the moment. I can't imagine what that tent's going to smell like when they're in full flower.

It looks like the two Mephisto seeds are DOA, still no signs of life. I think I changed too many factors in germination; germing in the tent in a paper towel when the humidity was so low, dried the paper towel too much, I put them in the dirt with pretty short tap roots, and because the container was so small, I think the soil dried out too much.

The thing is, I'm really wanting to try that Strawberry Nuggets, so a new 3 gallon pot is set up, and I dropped my last SN seed, so we'll see what happens.

Looking good Path

The couple weeks of actual "veg" seem to go on forever haha and then poof one week it's a foot taller and pistils are busting at the seams

GCS are known to run a little longer but real heavy on the yield :woohoo1:
Hope you're ready to tame the beast:vibe:

Well, they're both definitely girls, The Mayor showed me her naughty bits this evening :crying: . She's also getting a bit smelly, I opened up the tent and actually got a strong whiff of cheese, I didn't really think she'd smell like cheese so that took me and the wife by surprise! The actually both look noticeably larger today, even though I checked on on them this morning, so maybe were moving into the stretch? Dunno, don't really care, they'll do what they need to do when they're ready.

Houston, we have a problem. I went down to check on the girls, and found this on the solo cup Strawberry Nuggets:

No you might be asking yourself how is this a problem? Well, you see, I already set up another 3 gallon pot with soil, and started germinating my second SN, so this will put me at four plants in my little 2x2, and there's still the SLxSB in a solo cup that could potentially pull the Lazarus maneuver, which would put me at 5! I think imm6going to have to bust out my supplemental lighting.

Still, I can think of worse problems to have!

into the brave new world! :yay: ppp

Happy Friday eve everybody! Well it's Thursday so that means it's time for my weekly update. Let's start with the younger ones.

First is Strawberry Nuggets #2, she's taking her time, and so am I, I probably could have moved her into her pot this evening, but I decided to give her another day on the paper towel to stretch her tap root out a bit, looking like a seed, you know:

On to Lazarus, the lady perpetually stuck on day 0. I don't know what to do with her, she hasn't moved a bit since she popped out, and she's not far enough out to pop the helmet off. Since I don't have anything to lose, and I'm not using anything but pH'd water I'm just going to let her ride, and see what happens, what can I say, I root for the underdog.

Now for a little group shot of the tent:

They still plowing along getting taller and wider. Bubbles is oh so slowly moving in to preflower, I'm seeing white hairs here and there:

A little hard to see in the pic, but there's a few there. Of course we need a full spread shot:

Finally, we have The Mayor, now she's really getting into preflower, with white hairs everywhere, so much so, I had to get two shots of her naughty bits:

Still the shorter of the two, but I suspect we'll start seeing some stretching soon, plus she is indica dominant, so not as tall typically:

I did a stem rub on both of them (hey, with girls this hot, you can't resist rubbing up on them a bit  ) and they're presenting with very different characteristics. Bubbles is slightly skunky, herby with a little fruit on the back end, while the Mayor is way more earthy, sort of the dank smell of decomposition in a forest, with a good amount of skunky musk.

They took another 1/3 gallon of the 3mg feed, and they had about the same yesterday, so eating very well. I've been keeping a close eye for nute burn, but nothing, I probably could have gone to full strength (4g/gal) but I'd rather play it safe.

So far this has been a pretty smooth grow, with the exception of me freaking out about some small issues early on. I just can't wait to see them start piling on some buds!

Well, shit. I checked on SN #2 when I got home, and her tap root had exploded in length, and her seed looked like it was starting to split. Took her down to put her in the pot, and when I went to pick up the seed casing with my tweezers, the casing slipped right off:yoinks:. So there I am sitting in my basement, staring at a naked seedling, wondering WTF to do next. So I grab her by her little neck and then I find out that she burrowed her taproot into the paper towel. I soaked the towel around the root an eased her off with very minimal resistance, and drop her into the pot and just covered her up lightly with soil, and moistened the pot. I think she'll be fine, I don't know if I should have left a little above the soil or not? Should get her little leaves of soil? @420Forever @whatever battles next I'm kinda thinking I should.

As a side note, the little stem on her was a deep purple, wonder if that means I got the purple pheno?

I think I'm going to need a new tent:

Bubbles and The Mayor are really starting to shoot out pistils all over.
