Time to bust out the cigars then! Although in reality that means I'm the father of four healthy girls, since I have two little girls too. God, just wait til the plants start dating haha

The plants are looking great, Path
The mayor has caught right up I'd say

And those little sticks (stipules) that kind of make an x across the stem aren't really anything, found on both male and female plants, I'm not seeing anything but it's still early

So my bubbles had me worried this morning. I played hookey from work today, and checked on them at around 10am (An hour before lights out) and Bubbles was super droopy. I started freaking out after doing some looking online that I had over watered them last night. Oh well, nothing to do but sit it out and hope for the best.

I went to look in on them at around 4:30, and they were both up and praying. I guess they were just a little tired! Got to love new growers who freak out at the smallest thing. As a side note, I was so happy that they picked back up, that I forgot to check moisture, so I did that about a half hour ago, and they were in the red again. Since there's still no sign of nute burn, I gave them both about half a quart of the new 2g MC feed, I might be pushing them, but they seem to be liking the frequent feedings.

Still no real signs of the new girls, but it does look like the soil is starting to mound up a bit around where I put the seeds. I also went ahead and ordered a humidifier with a humidistat so I can dial up my humidity a bit more until we get into flower.

It's looking like the two Mephisto seeds are going to be a bust. I went looking for the Strawberry Nuggets seed, and when I found it the tap root doesn't look to have grown much if any since I planted it. Interestingly it didn't look rotted or damaged, I gave the seed and root a spritz with distilled water and it was still bright white it almost looked like it just went dormant. I have a couple of ideas as to why they stalled, I'm thinking either I didn't give them enough time in the towel (although I kind of doubt that, since plenty of people germ directly in soil), or more likely the medium was too dry below the surface, I was being more cautious with over watering, since the containers are so small, and I probably underwater, since the humidity in the tent is far lower then when I planted the GSC seeds, i think everything was drying out quicker then anticipated.

Since these were freebies and planted on a lark, I decided to pop the Strawberry Nuggets back in and give both of the a heavier watering. If nothing pops in the next few days to a week, we'll chuck them and call it up as a lesson learned. For the record, I don't think this is anything to do with the Mephisto seeds or anything, I'm pretty sure it's all user error. Who knows, they may still pop, in which case, I'll have to rename them Lazarus 1 and 2!

Little midweek update. Not much to report, but I got my humidifier today, and rh is already up to 47%. I'm glad it got here, because I really need that extraction fan running, the smell is moving upstairs into my son's room and the bathroom (although in my opinion, it's a hell of an improvement over the normal odors in those rooms :crying: ), and that's probably not the best thing in a non legal state.

Here's a few pics of the girls group shot first:

As a side note, does anyone else feel like this is the shittiest part of the grow? Week one and two, I was freaking out about whether they'd even grow, and trying to take care of bugs, how much to water, to nute or not to nute (that is the question) is the pH too high too low. Now in week 3 and 4 they're just plugging along, I come home from work, shove the moisture probe in, water (or not) and everything looks the same. No buds showing, slow and steady growth, nothing really exciting. I'd do some LST, but the soil sunk so I can't run any ties to the edge of the pot yet. And really, I kind of want to get a baseline for these two strains before I start really playing with them.

I know it's a stupid thing to complain about... "Oh, wow is me, my plants are happy and healthy, and I don't have anything to do". Especially since at the start of this thread, that's want I wanted, and now I'm bitching about it!
