Thanks @archie space gemmill yeah the seem to be pretty happy so far. Now that the cold has sunk in, I'm having low humidity issues (39%) so I put a small bucket of water in there with a towel in it to wick. It retrospect in may not have been the best idea to start a grow during the season change, but they seem happy, so I'm happy.

I fed them day before yesterday, and not seeing any nute burn, so I think they're liking that, they seem to be taking in more water every day, which is a great sign!

about this time every year i tell myself i should have stopped the grow for a few months as its a pig to keep temps up.

Nifty, I went dow to check on the humidity (slowly creeping up) and poked around a little bit, and it looks like they're getting some side branching starting on the lower nodes.

It really is fascinating watching them progress, I feel like I'm having almost as much fun growing them as I did smoking! I can't wait to have a bit of a stash saved up so I don't have to worry about supply.

On a side note, I ordered up a Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets seed, and that's supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I'm thinking of dropping that one when these two hit about a month. I'm gonna need a bigger tent

It's pretty common to have two small rooms on the same breaker, two lights and a few outlets, May have to look into running an extension cord for something, your problem is probably the rush of current when that little 1000W heater kicks on

Yeah, about that, turned out I had my extension cords confused and ended up putting both heaters on the same extension cord, I can't even blame it on a stoner moment, since I don't have any green yet! I swapped them around, and put both on high, and no blown breakers and temps back up to the mid 70s F.

As for the seeds, I'm sure we all knew how that would go down

Well look what the mailman dropped off:

So I ordered one Strawberry Nuggets seed and this is what I got:

Two Strawberry Nuggets and two "SL x SB". I'm guessing that's Sour Livers crossed with? No idea. I kind of want to drop one of the freebies, just to see what pops!

I can see why people rave about the Meph freebies, 4 seeds for right around $20 shipped, I'm so okay with that!

Morning everyone, hope you all are having a great weekend! I figured I might as well post up a weekend update. I honestly think I'm checking on them too much, because it seems like nothing's really changed over the weekend. Then I compared the pictures from Thursday with the ones below, and realized that they've grown quite a bit!

I gave them both a splash of water yesterday, and bubbles soil moisture was still good, however the Mayor was back down in the red, so I gave him another feeding, I think he's planning on taking off soon.

I'm still battling with lowish humidity even with the bucket its hanging in the mid to upper 30s, I'm probably going to have to get a humidifier to throw in the tent on payday. It seems like I get one issue after another, gnats, soil pH, low humidity, low temps, high humidity. But they seem to be doing well in spite of it.

I think I use to check mine every hour on my first grow , I cut it down to about 4 times a day :smoking:

Whoops, look what happened when I had my back turned:

1 Strawberry Nuggets an 1 SLxSB (which looks like a cross of Sour Livers and Sour Bubbly) dropped in distilled water. I'll be growing these two in Solo cups, just for shits and giggles. I figure the solo cups will keep size down so I don't completely outgrow my tent.

What can I say, this growing stuff is addictive as hell, so many strains to try out.
