Definitely should not be splitting a gallon between them this soon. I use a 6 oz spray bottle and don’t even use a whole one when I wet the whole top of the pot on multiple pots. Way to much water. Stick to a spray bottle. Don’t water through just keep the top damp.

Vegging plants don’t need much water at all. They don’t really start drinking a lot until they switch to flower. Then they’re gonna eat a lot as well. I feed every water but I use small doses. I could probably feed much more and water in betweeen but at the end of the day they’re getting the same amount of nutes, just smaller doses more frequently.

Thanks for the replies and recommendations! So basically leave it alone at this point? And next time I water, not nearly as much? Bought a humidifier off Amazon today, so hoping it’s here by this weekend to help with RH issues

I would not. i try not to water to my soil to runoff. IF i do it's less <10%

How far away is your light? dimmer setting? My plants droop at lights on and off. I also noticed i was giving them to much light making them droop. Look into Photone App. or a par meter if you can afford it. I say this because your plants look to be stacking pretty tight. Looking good . My Anvils Droop a lot could be strain

it def seemz that ur watering too much too often...a common mistake when first starting out....but what happenz is that the soil below is staying too wet, which endz up suffocating the rootz it can also cauze fungus gnatz...and believe me, thoze fuckin bastardz are a whole other nightmare, ahh! u gotta remember that weed is....well, a weed , and it can ezily handle dry spellz, np ppp

Appreciate it! Not touching them again til Thursday at the earliest, and when I water I’ll go much lighter. Humidifier scheduled to get here on Thursday. Hopefully they’re okay! Will start some LST once they fill the pot, but don’t plan on doing too much on my first grow!

They’re in 5 gallon fabric pots. I now understand that they should only be getting like 1 cup of water each, but is it okay for the rest of the soil to dry out (heard that was bad)? Should I be spraying the surface or something?

yes, it'z ok to let the soil dry out, as long as it'z not for too long...u can jus give the topsoil a good misting in between timez u need to get urself a good ol' $10 moisture meter at home depot or lowez, the kind with the 2 long prongz...a cheap but most valuable tool for watering in a nutshell, u want the soil to alwayz be like a nice moist choc cake, not too wet, not too dry ppp

Day 17: Looking much better. Lightly sprayed. Made sure not to hit the leaves. Humidifier should be here Thursday or Friday. Do you guys recommend I run it outside of the tent near one of the intake vents, or actually put it right inside the tent? Thanks everyone for the help!
