New Grower *First Grow* Double Grape Auto by Mephisto Genetics(Autopot XL)

Day 18
Temp:~75
RH:~56%
VPD: 1.2 kPa

Right so they're not drinking from the trays yet, in fact I'm not sure if it's even wicking up because Ive turned the res off and it's still wet down there after a day. If by tomorrow it's still like that, they're coming out. I top watered ~150ml @400 Hanna & 5.8pH using MC & Sea-K each pot to make sure the roots had something going on but with the trays like this idk my best course of action.

Will update more on that tomorrow.

Day 19- took them out of the trays, water leaked for a solid 2 and a half minutes making me think that it's at least wicking but the top part of the soil was still pretty dry I guess they just aren't big enough to drink from them? Idk I'm gonna top water for a couple more days and try again.

I'm also concerned about pH and nute lockout because of the EC being higher at runoff. I know coco retains the nutes different but the pH won't go below 7. Sus. As much as I didn't want to, I'm going to flush the hell out of them tomorrow morning unless someone thinks they have a better idea. They're day 20 now but I want to figure this pH issue out before I put them back on the trays. Lord, they aren't making this easy. I haven't used any cal-mag yet, and people online are divided on it's use, but I could use more advice lol.

Mine are at 2 month mark, big as shyte and top of soil is still dry. Which is nice as I don't have critters this go around and the yellow stickies are still on the shelf.

Should I put them back on the trays today? Slight taco and tip burn on one plant, fed them RO yesterday and hoping that this can be fixed lol.
PPM @ res was 150 when they were attached.
I fed them with 400ppm water for a couple days and that's when this happened. So when I put them back on, I'll make my nutes with some cal-mag for the first time and go for around 300 ppm. Sound right?

Day 21
RH:58%
Temp:76
VPD:1.1 kPa
Last feeding 12/30 @ 80ppms RO + 2ml/gal Florakleen

Think rule of thumb on autopots is hand/top water till the leaves reach outside edges of pot then place in trays. Know one grower did res on from germ and mine were about that big when I turned on res. But my medium was soil all the way down so not sure how your coco mix would work.

I'm going to put them back on tomorrow I think and see how it goes. With a leaking valve I have to manually flood the trays, so I'm going to have to order a new valve to fix that.
They're being fed ~100 ppms of cal Mag and 150 ppms of megacrop @ 5.8
Runoff PPM is around 400-500 pH of runoff is 7-7.2 I don't think lockout would cause tip burn though would it?

Okay NVM more than likely calcium and magnesium def from either pH flux or coco binding. I literally just got the pot feet for them so they've been struggling with reabsorption until today. I'm glad I fed them cal-mag earlier. Not sure if I should put them in the autopot trays yet or if I should fix this issue first...

Hit the tubing around both sides of valve and it'll snug up the rubber around it. The megacrop buildup will seal it on it's own pretty quickly though. Just put a paper towel around it and it'll keep the drips from running down the line. Or to really fix it you can cut new ends on the lines and use the hairdryer and start them again, but gonna need to empty your rez to do that
