New Grower First Grow - Dinafem Widow & Amnesia

I think they are all ok. I think because its my first ever grow I am looking into every little detail and getting worried over every little thing. Thanks for the rep!

It happens..All plants act differently to different situations. I saw no real issues on your grow. They all looked fine. As they get into FLOWER they will drink much more than VEG. They will also suck up cal-mag as well. I'd be prepared for that and maybe give them a dose of cal-mag supplement weekly. There is no issue of giving too much. Just stay within the recommended range of what brand you choose. Cal-Mag is the biggest problem I've had with plants in FLOWER.

Good luck. Doing your 1st grow with eight girls is a daunting task to say the least.

Is it normal for big fan leaves to start turning yellow 2 weeks into flower? One of my plants all the bottom leaves look like they are being sucked dry - theres a couple that are completely yellow and died off, this has happened in the last 2/3 days. I was expecting this in 2-3 weeks time not now

The bud leaves are still a nice green colour. There is one other plant where the big bottom fan leaves seem to be loosing colour.

Just for extra info:

The seedings sprouted 10th April so we are 45 days in now so I am guessing theres 2-4 weeks left

This is normal in FLOWER. Fan leaves will yellow up as your girls ripen. Check the Life Cycle of the Autoflower by Muddy on AFN. Great thread and a must read.

Ok I was starting to worry as it happened so fast. Yea I did read it I was just expecting the buds to be bigger now if the leaves were starting to yellow. The next feed will be the addition pk13/14 - going to up the nutes this time (been using a light feed schedule - going to bump it up to normal feed) as I believe this may be the last feed before harvest. They got PH'd water yesterday so will probably not need the next watering/feed for 5-7 days

Just gone back and checked and 3 of the widows all seem to be draining the biggest leaves - hopefully the buds will all start filling out over the next 5-7 days.

I've had girls yellow up as soon as they stop their FLOWER stretch. Nothing to be worried about. They will drink more water in FLOWER. Five to seven days between watering's seems a bit too long, but you're there and I'm not to see what they need. Buds will fill out like magic in late FLOWER. Longer they FLOWER the fatter the buds. My Blue Mystic looked anemic in early FLOWER and the last weeks exploded with fatness.

You got a lot on your plate for a new grower. I commend your spunk to grow some skunk.

Thanks for all the help BayLee, I usually go by the weight of the pots - they are in 25 litres pots so it takes a while for them to drink it dry. Usually a feed can be anything from 24 litres - 36 litres of water between the 8 plants. It has been hard to grow originally 9 plants but so far it has been pretty much stress free! I think the next one will hopefully go better.. I just stuck by the feeding schedule, made sure my water was PH'd on point and the plants have done the rest. A few people said to me "You won't get hardly anything for your first grow" - hopefully I will prove them wrong :)

This is the most exciting stage for me now. The bud leaves are starting to frost up real nice! It has been enjoyable growing auto flowers its amazing how big they get in such a short space in time. One of them is over 5ft now! I am hoping to get 400-500g from all 8 - but we will see how they fatten up over the next 4/5 weeks.

I have some photoperiod plants that have been vegging since the autos sprouted, soon as the autos are done I'm going to do a 4 x plant scrog to try maximize the space and hopefully get a really big yield from the 5x5 tent. With the autos after a lot of research I decided just to let them do their own thing rather than tamper with them - they all seem to have grown to the shape of the tent lol.

Quick update:

DAY 49

I have dropped the humidity from 50% down to 40% now. I noticed soon as I done this with in days there has been a lot of resin production so I have decided to keep it in the 35-45% range. I have found when the humidity drops to 30% its a good indicator that they need feeding - Soon as a feed is done humidity can shoot back up to 40-50% within a couple of hours. Temperature is kept in the range of 25-28c.

Yesterday I bumped up the feed to and introduced the PK13/14 (I am hoping I introduced at the correct time) - I was a little bit worried as I have been light feeding and was scared I might burn them but looking at them today they look like they took well to it.

I am estimating another 21-30 days until harvest - I could be wrong so if anyone can look at the pics and give an opinion it would be appreciated. The fan leaves have really slowed down on the yellowing now - still tons of green leaves so I am thinking there is still a way to go.

One of the plants seems to be all hairs and no buds - it is the biggest plant out the lot (Can be seen in one of the pics). I am hoping it fills out as the others have started to swell now. Lots of frosting on the bud leaves and some orange hairs on some of the buds now. Do you guys think they will swell out a lot more yet? The buds don't seem dense at all yet.
