@Damien50 Thanks. I'll check out that thread. I haven't started running the resevoir yet, thats why I am top feeding just a little bit of water. I'm afraid if I start flooding the system, the coco will hold too much water for the roots to properly develop. I was going to start using the resevoir around Day 10. Am I wrong in my thought process. And again, thanks for the input

I wouldn't set a day but rather wait for a set of true leaves first but otherwise I think you're correct

So we made it to day 6. Not much change above ground. I wish I had Xray vision so I cound see whats going on in the ground.
Since the girls are doing good so far, I lowered the lights down to 40". I plan on lowering them every few days until they yell at me or I reach my ideal which i'm thinking is around 24" with this light. I top fed them 300ml of my mix. I think I will follow the advice of others and wait until the girls develop more before I increase the feed and start using the resevoir. I think I'm on the right track. It's been a long day. I'll check in again tomorrow. Thanks again for spending time to check me out. Here are todays pics

Coco haha makes sense. Yeah no experience there. From watching others it seems like you are on the right track. They are looking good. This stage is a little tedious but believe me they will start exploding with new growth as every new leaf is like a solar panel.

What is your EC? What are you feeding if in coco?

It is important to water twice a day in coco MINIMUM. Coco is hydro right?!!!!

Seedlings 0.2 EC
Your stage 0.4 EC
Preflower - stretch 0.5 EC
True flower 0.65 EC

All above base, if you water is ok.

You cannot over water in coco - so give them roots as much oxygen as humanly possible.

@jumper114 PPM is 140 which I believe is around .2-.3 EC. PH is 6.1. I'll try to bring the PH down ever so slightly before the next flood. I'm thinking of flooding once/day until flower(if I make it that far)I noticed today that the first set of leaves and new leaves are starting to lose their color. Also, two of the seedlings almost look to have a slight purple on the tips of the new growth.I'm thinking because they are needing something. I flooded my system for the first time today for 15 min. . It also seems that they are not as eager to grow new leaves.I'm hoping that it's just me being paranoid Any thoughts or suggestions? Mate they are fine. They are just little buggers at the beginning. They are just trying to put down roots. So long as RH is high (50%+), and your feed is going in at 0.2/0.3EC at the right PH you are good.

Second set of true leaves tells the tale.

If you are not using Canna Rhizo and a Silicon Additive - get on it now. Canna Rhizo 0.75ml/1lt forever. 0.5ml/1lt of Buddahs Tree Solar Power for ever. (Every feed - does not shift EC). Don't adjust for age of plant.

Keep PH at 5.8. Don't change whenever your feed. It will rise up over the day. 5.8 - 6.2 is desirable. PH is logarithmic and each 0.1 is important.

Feed twice a day, mate, minimum with 20% run off. Also don't rush it. You can get 20% easily if you drown them with a watering can. Ideally weigh the pot. I do - every day. That way you won't f**k up.

It should always be heavy.... its coco.

Ideally, gets yourself some auto irrigation - amazon for 30 quids - even cheaper in US. Coco is hydro and all we aim to do is delivered highly oxygenated feed of the right ph and ec to the roots.

Edit : Check my diary for pics to compare stages. I have topped by day 7 before

BTW - ppm is a rubbish measurement. Get yourself an EC pen. Too many scales with PPM!

After I flooded today, PH went from 6.1 to 6.4. I will adjust before the next time I flush. Without sounding ignorant, why the Canna Rhizo and Buddah additives?

I am not sure with RDWC/your system. I run auto irrigation with auto drain to waste. So girls get fed about 150ml every 2 hours from seedlings. Each reservoir is air pumped.

However, Canna Rhizo is fantastic for root development.

Silicon additives of any kind massively increase branch development. Thicker branches = more nutrients = more flowers = bigger buds.

After CalMag, Silicon is the 2nd most important IMO.

If it was me, I would be top feeding as much as possible and stuff the system until they are more developed. Sure it will kick ass soon!

If honest, they should be bigger for 7 days. What is the RH?
