so I wanted to post this in the hydro section, but since the revamp, I cannot find it. I've got a few gardens under my belt with soil, decided to try something new. Also low on funds and resources atm-so the huge bag of chunky perlite I have was calling my name lmao. Here's the skinny:
Strain is a bnew cross-samsquanch og x hbss by mephisto. I whipped up a 5.1 L bucket with a hole 2" from the bottom. The res is straight perlite. The rest of the bucket is perlite/vermiculite in a 3/1 ratio. I rinsed all the perlite thoughouly with phed tap water to 6. Runoff was about 20 ppm above my tap water ppm. Seemed good enough.

Now to the germing
Doing something new here too. Hope it doesn't bite me in the ass(it's all about learning)
I usually germ and strart seeds straight in my soil pots. This time because of hempy, I am germing in a solo cup with a peat, perlite, and mykos mixture. Basically soaked seed for 12 hours, then saturated solo cups with a light nute solution-120ppm, then dropped seed into cup. That's where I'm at-yesterday was day 0, just sprouted. Have no preset watering notions here-just going by the seat of my pants and trying to use my intuition as far as watering the seedling in the cup goes. Any tips very welcome! I might have left things out-kinda a bit rushed atm. Lmk if questions.

And there she is in her new home, well the pic won't load here-I'll post it up when I have more bars. Don't have any idea how to water this seedling in a cup of peat, just roughly giving it the same as my soil runs for now as kind of a "baseline". 50ml every other day for now and watching closely. I forgot to mention the whole nute part, I'd say I was stoned, but I was trying to fire the post off quick lmao. Nutes are greenleaf nutrients mega crop and their cal-mag pro product. Recharge on deck, as well. I pre charged the peat solo cup with 1g/g base nutes, and a dash of recharge (120 or so ppm iirc) and will Increase feed by .5-1g every week depending on how she's showing.

Ok, you should be fine, water with a syringe, imo plain water but use your low ppm nutes if you like

Cool man. I will heed your advice, plain water first 10 days sound good? I wasn't sure about nutes so early, thanks for the quick chime in. There doesn't seem to be ill effects. Maybee a little dark? Also the megacrop has tons of hormones in it/ was kinda doubling it and the recharge as rooting stim since I have none. Well I have kelp lol

Hard to say my bro, yours is a little more hybrid than a regular hydro grow but I like that!

Imo just water to a moist amount.. what does that mean?
