Soooo frosty bro foreeal![]()
Get a legit filter kinda pricey but they last a while. I use the phresh brand my tent 3x3 so it's a 4"by8" but the does the trick.
dude i know your running ph perfect but have you checked the ph of your res when i was using ph perfect at about halve strength the ph was 5.9 but when i added overdrive the ph went to 5.3 causing complete nute lockout (because i wasn't checking the ph ) dont know why i rebalanced it and it stayed like that for a week then just rebalanced every time might be worth looking intoQuesStions
Alien toof has been suffering from nute burn. Her burnt tips have been getting bigger and then it started along the sides of the leaves. In trying to figure out why I have lowered her ec down to 1.2 from 1.5 on Saturday. Yesterday when I checked on her it has gotten worse. So I decided to run some straight PHd water through her after getting about 1 gallon through her I measured the runoff and it was 6.8 Ec. So I ran another gallon through and that read 1.3 Ec I then just hooked her back up to her res her next feeding was only an hour away. Today it doesn't appear that it has worsened but I still cringe when I see her.
So onto my questions.
Am I not running my pump long enough? ( I run for 3 mins there is pleanty of runoff)
Should I run straight Ph water more often? ( I only did it once between veg and flower)
Am I correct in assuming that This was my problem ?
Thanks,guys
Are u running drip clean at full strenghth? Helps pull the salts out.
I have a theory tho cuz i always get the deficiency in late flower. It's maybe because the root mass is so big and thirsty that it's drying out between feeds, raising coir ph and result in lockout. Idk tho..
I had a good convo with grey bear a while back that he also had these deficiencies and it just might be a flaw with the nutes. He ended up switching and never got it again.
I wanted to add, as long as the deficiency doesn't get into the buds ur straight. I like to leave some fan leaves near the tops for "deficiency bait" lol usually any problems stay on those leaves and the buds themselves are fine.
