Hey mate, now this is probably totally wrong but worth a mention. When you talk about the start of a calmag def to one of your plants, do you mean the slight yellowing to the leaf edges? As I read somewhere on here yesterday that it can be a sign of overwatering with a young plant?
Like I say probably wrong in this situation but thought I'd say anyway
Thank you for the suggestion.. and to be quite honest with you I'm not sure if I over watered them..
The first week they only received about 10-20 ml per day of straight tap, then week 2 they got 20-60ml water 2x per day, now their up to 1.5c water with nutes 2x/day.. I only water them the 2nd time through the day if the roots organics soil seems dry to the touch about 1/2" down. And about 3/4 the time it is dry so I apply the second watering.
I think the problem stemmed from not introducing calmag early enough into the regiment. Feed Day 1 was at Day 11 and cal mag wasn't added till day 14.
(To be sure I didn't overload them with calmag because I am cheap and run de-chlorinated tap water) one thing I can say is these girls for sure like the cal mag because in the few days I have been giving it to her yellowing seemed to have slowed down in the new growth.
Here's a picture of the yellowing I'm talking about in particular..
Thanks man! Hoping she yields alright.. she's off to a slow start because it hasn't been ideal conditions outside, but none the less she seems to be happy and healthy
Looks like cal at deficiency has come to a stop. New growth seems healthy. ALSO I saw the first two pistols shooting out of the top of the plant today. Sorry the pics keep uploading sideways. in the last pic you can see the pistols I saw if you look close and dead center
Installed a trellis today, set 12" below the 300w mars hydro. This will be my sweet spot to scrog the 3BOG's out for the next couple weeks while they still are pretty bendable. I expect they will probably reach the top in the next few days... eventually I will install a 2nd one and depending how much they grow will kind determine how tall I'm going to put the 2nd trellis.
I grew five total, one I messed up bad as i accidently knocked off one of the cotyledons. The other four performed amazingly, and yielded 2+ oz each. I have them in a hybrid hps/led setup inside. I did a smoke report I believe, and if I didn't I'll do one now, it's a hell of a strong plant. One of my favorite thus far, along with beary white
