Indoor First Auto growSpectrum king Clost case- bubba cheese/ blue critical

Day 39:

Well the bubba are still stretching big time the biggest one is pushing 42" and the other two are right behind. So I've tied the tops down for now to help with the stretch on the 3 tall girls.

The blues have slowed down some and are really starting to flower nice. I've noticed two distinct pheno and there about 10 days apart in terms of flowering. The early two are starting to get some nice resin production going on too.

I gave the 6 biggest girls some water with a little stronger dose of nutrients.....they didn't seem to mind the last one at half strength.

If you really want to stop the stretch, gently break the main stem in between the 2 last nodes. Wash your hands, twist it with your fingers, until you hear a clic, pinch it gently, and then leave her alone. This is really important to twist and pinch before bending this one, because if you cut it, it's done for you my friend. Whatever, you can tie her up if you want. Or leave it bend on the side. They'll take 3-5 days to recover, but it allows lower stems to catch up. This will also enlarge your main stem and give a bigger main bud.

You can also try to pinch (but be careful not to break them) the every last node on you taller secondary stems. It will increase your yield.
But be careful to do it only on the plants you want to prevent from stretching.

It will only make them stronger, and i would not tell you that if your princesses where on a bad shape. You'll thank me.

Your plants are beautiful and healthy by the way. Keep it up with the great work, I love to see them grow.

Cheers.

Nothing much to report......Everything is doing great. The bubbas are still stretching hard. Tying them down seems to of helped, but i still had to raise the lights again. Got about 10 " left before my lights hit the top of my tent.

All the girls got their second feed of bloom nutrients and seem to have no problem with the stronger dose compared to the last. One of the bubbas is in full flower mode but the other 3 seem to be taking their sweet time....hoping they kick soon.

The blues on the other hand are looking better and better ever time I open the tent. The earlier blues are really amping up on the resin production. I'm already starting to see it on the fan leafs, so that's nice. And the later flowing girls are coming into their own now too.

The tents looking pretty crowded as far as I'm concerned getting pretty busy, so I may have to do some light trimming isoon to max the light penetration.

Do whatever you need to keep things under control, like Zeytan said pinching the stem aka "supercropping" helps, i don't do the twist like he mentions i just pinch one way rotate 90 degree and pinch the other way, then lay the stem over, doesn't have to be the last two nodes either it pretty darn easy, and the plants don't even slow down, with my own plants that's when i'm being gentle with them, other time i make "Z's" of the stem to keep things under control in my limited space.

You look on track though, keep it up.

Also a lot of the fan leaves that are at the base of nodes, typically just fuel stem elongation apart from acting as nutrient stores, but especially if they have already moved way past that point like your bottom most fan leaves, but it can become a heated debate about whether to pluck or not, i figure you do what you can to keep things in check, if it means the odd leaf plucking than so be it, as the plant with those leaves isn't gonna be hitting a major nutrient deficiency any time soon, well till you decide to that is, again another heated debate about whether flushing is necessary or not.

Thanks for the advise. When I had a peek this morning it seems as some of the bottom branches on some of the bubbas grew up a couple inches at least. So rather then raise the light I did some pinching. I'll post some pictures when I get home from work later on tonight.

Updated :
Well got back from work and the pinching seemed to go all right.

I also did a lil trimming as well. Nothing crazy theses girls are very hardy and can take it from what I've been seeing.

Here's a couple of one of the the early Blue Critical

You're now on cruise control budy ! Nice plants, really, you can congratulate yourself :woohoo:. Your reward will be the nugggggssssssss. Can't wait to see your main colas, they will be HUGE.

Do you feed her with bloom yet ? You should start to introduce them at the end of the week. But eazzzyyyy. After a little trim. Just let the last (or two last as you wish) big set of leaves on every primary/secondary stems. That just give a better light penetration for the little ones.

Thanks Zettan. I can't wait to see how much these girls swell up my self:jointman:
They have been on AN Bloom A&B for two weeks now. First feed was at half the recommended dose and the second feed was just a little bit stronger. Haven't noticed any signs of burn.

Day 49:

Everything is going great, except for the one blue. She's showing major signs of what I think are nutrient burn?

I got kinda greedy and feed them 3 weeks in a row with out a flush and the poor girl just can't handle it. I'm really only seeing the burn on the the upper fan leafs......All the lower ones look pretty much normal. Needless to say I gave her a major flush then 1/4 strength feed. Hopefully she improves. I will be doing a proactive flush on all the other girls next water coz they all seem to be doing fine.

The bubbas are really taking their time to turn into anything compared to the blues. Hopefully the start to pack on some bud some time soon. I got a new toy so I thought I throw in some close ups

Day 57:

Well where chugging along here at just over 8 weeks. The one Blue critical is looking pretty crispy. (Really only effecting the upper leafs ) But she's still packing on the weight....god bless her.
Barely any hairs have started to turn on her.

Now the Bubba Cheese on the other hand is a whole other thing all together. Such a late bloomer. But now that she's starting to look like something I think it might be worth the wait.
