Hello all and thank you for having me. This is my first grow since the late 1900s lol, holy shit how growing has evolved over the last 20 years, and my first experience with automatic strains. I am growing Ripleys OG and Tyrone Special both from Mephisto, Auto Speed Bud from Female Seeds and White Widow from Seedsman. My setup so far:
4'x4'x7' Vivosun Tent
Viparspectra PAR700 LED
2 Small Fans
Coco Perlite Mix 50/50
PH Meter
PH Up/Down (Tap water here is 7.9)
Orca Root Booster
I will get more items along the way as needed

Planted seeds directly into medium in solo cups on 4/14, all 4 sprouted on 4/17. I am currently just giving them water @ ph 6 and just started the root booster yesterday at 50% dosage and will be given every other day. Today is day 5 and they seem to be doing pretty well, even the Speed Bud my cat knocked over the other day :yoinks:. I didn't think she was going to make it but she looks to be bouncing back. Here's some day 1 and day 5 pics of each and a pic of my speed bud hating cat lol. Any help along the way will be greatly appreciated lol and I can deal with criticism too. I hope I'm doing this right it's my first journal as well lol. I plan on updating every week with pics and I'm sure I will be asking a question or 30 as we go on. Thanks for taking the time to check me out hopefully all goes well and I'll see you in a few days.

Not really an update but it's beautiful outside this morning so I decided to let them soak up some sun on the deck. Gotta keep them semi stealth so I stuck them in a bigger pot.

Thanks for the welcome, still trying to figure everything out on the site. I'm going to go with 3 gallon fabric pots, from what I've been reading it's 1 gal per month of the life of the plant. I'm pondering growing one out in the solo cup haha just because of ones I seen in the challenge that ended last week, just gotta decide which one or perhaps start another. I went a little crazy when I ordered my seeds, Seedsman was running an awesome bitcoin promo I couldn't pass up. And as for my cat he's too damn cool for me to hate him lol. He tries to lay in the tent under the light like he's getting a tan. The speed bud looks like she's gonna make it lol I was heartbroken when I came home from work n seen the cup laying over and the plant completely out of the coco. Thank you again and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the upcoming weeks.

Ok so these pics are from last night, day 8, and compared to other grows I've seen by day 8 the plants are much more developed than where I'm at right now. Tyrone special is only about 1/2" tall and hasn't really grown since she sprouted. I was thinking maybe the light was too close or too intense but im running the dimmer at 50% blue 50% white and 20% red and I just raised it yesterday from 32" to 40" above the plants. Could it be the root booster I'm giving them every other feeding? I only water when the top of the coco is dry but if I move a little to the side it's still damp. Possibly wait a little longer to water? Or maybe I should just pull them and start over. Any feedback will be appreciated. @Slowmo @Ripper @Lizardking sorry only names I can recall off the top of my head at the moment.

They look fine no more water today maybe even tomorrow you want to let the soil dry a bit before watering to make the roots search for moister growing roots equal growing plant..

Cool man I appreciate the help. lol I was looking up stunted plants an seen one that was fully finished and just a bit bigger than a pack of cigarettes and I'm thinking man I hope that's not what happens to mine although for novelty purposes it did look kinda cool.

All looking how they should do to me man.give them a bit of time for the roots to get going, then there will be no stopping them
As ripper said, give them a day or 2 in between feeds...this encourages the roots to spread out looking for food.but all looks good to me bro...I like ya led...I grow with 600 hps,and been thinking about going down the led route, but I'm not fully convinced yet.

Cool thanks for the reassurance, first time with autos so I have to keep reminding myself I'm a novice and haven't grown since '96 lol and still amazed that you can finish a plant in 2-3 months.
