Hey Fred, thanks for the reply. That 8" is only like $40 more than the 6" so I believe I am gonna with that. Seems cheaper long term than replacing $150 carbon filters regularly. The air turnover should be higher as well with almost no back pressure compared to pushing through carbon. Thanks again, and best of luck, the grow is looking sweet!

Bama no prob! One thing I should mention that if you haven't smelled ozone before you might be in for a surprise. It's certainly not odorless, and not offensive odor. I don't know how to describe it. Kind of reminds me like a clean pool or something without the chlorine smell. Kind of also reminds me of how "space" would smell. Lol. Anyways, just letting you know if you're venting into an enclosed space that it definitely DOES smell like something whereas the charcoal nets a more "odor-less" effect.

I vent directly outdoors so it's not much of an issue for me, and the little bit that does escape through imperfections in the ducting makes the grow area smell fresh and clean ::peace:

Looking awesome mate , real nice!
i would say you dont have alot to worry about, if my leaves were in that state at this stage in the grow i would be a very happy man,
i would suggest not cutting off any leaves if they are not completley dead, just take some snaps at lights out so we can see the beauty of your work.

Piggy, got a filter from a company off of the net, its 120mm and long, with a 150 ruck L1 fan pull it through. I have only really noticed strong smell in that last weeks of flower. Ozone would not be an option for me, as I am not blowing out of the room. Gotta keep trying to improve on what I got.

Day 32 from seed if my calculations are correct.

Past the one month mark, just another update: fed plain tap water yesterday bubbled overnight and pH'd to 6.8 trying to get the runoff up a little. one of the Easy Ryder girls runoff was real low like 5.2 or 5.3 and yellowing lower leaves so hopefully this flush will bring that up a bit. not sure why it's the only one with such a low pH but maybe I didn't mix her soil enough? who knows. Everyone else looks fine though. The leaf pic I posted before was from when captain clumsy (aka myself after a few pulls of OG kush) zipped the tent up with one of the girls arms sticking out, lol.

Afghan Kush Ryders -- curious to see how pot size effects yield here.

Easy Ryders -- clearly pot size is having an effect!

Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto -- looking good nothing to report!

day 33
I want to start ramping up bloom nutes now. Fed 1/2 strenth bloom nutes before lights out got the pH up a bit more after checking runoff of a couple were pretty low maybe 6.0 so upped a bit to 6.8 going in and runoff was 6.3 with the others. About 400ppm in.

Random thought of the day:
Probably going to build a built-in grow closet in the cellar pretty soon with a seedling/veg cabinet with LED or T5 and a flowering cabinet with my 600. Wish I woulda done it from the start like I was thinking but I wanted to get up and running quickly. The tent is nice and treats us well but its flimsy. I'll definitely keep it around for utility sake (drying, extra grow space, etc).

day 37 everyone is starting to pack weight on. Trics forming, resin getting sticky, etc. I've got two plants that are having some issues, but first the good news. seeing some serious resin production from 2 of the AKR's, two of the ERs and the one NLxBB. Here's some pics at lights off tonight with the nicer camera. The yellow level in the shot is 27 inches, so you get an idea of where I'm at height wise.. The level is sitting in one of the easy ryders. Nicer one of the phenos there. The two AKRs in 5gal smart pots are just awesome. Definitely going to be growing this strain again real soon. Pics 2 and 3 below are AKRs

Now the problems... One of the smaller Easy Ryders was having what I thought were pH issues. I checked runoff and it was low, about 5.4. Not sure why because I water everyone the same but maybe my soil mix was goofy? Thinking I may have locked out N? The whole plant just went a bad color of very yellowy green. I honestly didn't feed too much N (almost no extra flowering nutes) at all other than what was already in the Happy Frog so maybe this one just didn't have enough N ever. Fed everyone with N the other day whilst getting this little plants runoff up to 6.3 and it *looks* like shes coming back. Of course I don't have a before pic but can anyone tell if it's looking better? Greener foliage starting on the inside maybe? She's still packing on a ton of trics in the meantime, so I don't think shes stunted really...

And here's one that I don't think it was really a problem but just worried it might herm on me. It's the yellowy stringy looking one in the back there... Anyone ever seen an AKR with almost no bigger fan leaves and tall and lanky? This one had some goofy problems at the start with weird initial fan leaves (see page 1 probably).

I'll try and get a better pic of her next update. Like I said she's a little yellow but the lankiness is what concerns me, not sure if it's stressed or somethign with no bigger fan leave production. Very interesting contrast to the other AKRs under the same conditions, eh?

Anyways fed 36 hours ago with some 1/2 strength liquid karma and like I said some 1/3 strength pureblend pro grow for some added N to help some of the yellowing plants. Will feed with just 1/2 strength pureblend pro bloom next. Sound good? Let me know what you guys think of the two goofy plants and let me know if any suggestions for the other ones...

I was thinking of some molasses for some carb and cal/mag benefits... I currently only use the botanicare grow/bloom and liquid karma. Anyone have any other suggestions what I can do to help the budding stage? I tend to be a "less is more" guy but I feel like I'm leaving something out. Peace :peace:

Hey man. Not sure on the lankiness but it sounds like you're on top of everything else. Looking good dude that's a lot of plants. Nice.

Here she is next to one of the other AKRs. She bears no resemblance to her sisters, haha. Must just be a different pheno? She's also in a smaller pot so maybe root-bound or something? I'm not too worried about her, I've just seen lanky plants herm before with friends grows so I'm trying to keep a close eye on her. Don't need any seeds right now!

EDIT: I could transplant to a larger pot... but I don't really want to stunt any growth even more than I may already have...
