Just a little update while I wait for the soil to dry out a little more... Interesting to see the difference the size of the pot makes at this point in the grow. Yeah it's hard to say if they are the same pheno but this trend is seen across all the plants that have strains in the different size pots in my current grow.

Update for start of week 5. The odor was getting stanky so I added a new toy to the ducting system, a Big Blue 8inch inline ozone generator. Venting through the big carbon scrubber and this 3 lamp ozone generator is way overkill but very effective.

Nice, thanks for those shots on the pots. That is pretty cool side x side comparison.

A question, I am a few weeks in and beginning to think about odor control. You have almost exactly the same setup as I do. Do you think the ozone generator by itself is enough to clear the air or a larger carbon filter alone? My setup is in my garage and my home is on a 1 meter crawlspace. I am currently venting into the crawlspace but when I start flowering I am going to have to put something down there to clear the air. I have considered the ozone generator and the carbon both but I want to go with just one item. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hey insert, did you make sure to match the rated cfm of your filter to your fan and did you make sure to get a reputable brand?

I'll be honest I was amazed at what this ozone generator is doing but I have not run it without the carbon filter by itself yet, although I'm sure it would be fine by itself since I'm only pushing half of the rated air per minute through it (400 vs 800 rating). This ozone generator is way too expensive for budget grows, runs like $450usd MSRP, I know they make smaller 4 inch ones that are cheaper, this is the 8inch one rated for 800cfm (I always go overkill when I buy stuff haha). You might look into this one (http://www.amazon.com/CAP-Ozone-Generator-5500-Square/dp/B0033BSBJA) you can find it for less than $100usd at other sites and it had a 5500 sq ft rating, you would just mount it in your crawspace somewhere and vent into the crawspace, make yourself a DIY carbon filter for around 20 or 30 bucks and you'd be all set IMO. I've seen this one reviewed a bunch on other forums and people say it works pretty well, someone had a couple of them for a 20x30 grow area and said 2 were enough to keep smells at bay.

my filter is really not seeming to be able to keep up, do you have any smell with the ozone generator? How was it on the wallet?

It's $450usd MSRP but you can find it for about $300usd. Not sure how long the bulbs last, but they are at least $40usd each and my unit has 3 so it's like... kind of pricey to run. The thing works amazingly. We'll see when these babies start to ripen how well it's working but I'm impressed so far.

Day 30 from seed

Day 30 from seed update with pics

Ran them bone dry and watered yesterday. Ended up watering/feeding at 300ppm pH 6.6 with 1/3 strength botanicare pureblend pro Bloom and another dose of liquid karma. They really seem to be loving the liquid karma, they are verrrrry green. I'll start upping the bloom dosage soon (scared to over-nute!)

Someone let captain clumsy into the garden (and he's been tokin a little too much)...
Checked everyone out before bed and noticed VERY yellow, burnt leaves at the bottoms of some of the plants... First reaction oh crap what did I do? Felt the n00b cloud descend over my head only to realize after a few seconds that it must have been some splash from the feed the yesterday. I was kind of in a rush and must have hit the lower leaves. Phew! (at least that's my hypothesis at this point, i'm not too worried about it) Of course I started snapping pics to show you all when I thought I screwed up so I'll post them anyway.

A few random shots-- one AKR and one Easy Ryder next to eachother stretching their arms out while everyone else is out of the tent. With just those two in there I start to feel like starting 7 autos was WAY overzealous, ha! On the right is one of the bushier AKRs

Here's a pic under proper lighting to show how healthy everyone looks other than some accidental foliar feeding
