no debate WVR just clarification thats all, just wanted to explain the tiered theory out in detail and why it works for me. Like you said good info for all out there :thumbs:

Such a stubborn old man JD, so bitter and stubborn. 
I'll post some pictures of tiered transplant plants I have too, for less than 2 gallons of soil they're pretty huge. Solo cup (18oz) to 1.2gal pail = 4.5 ft plants. Maybe it was just luck, my soil is pretty simple.

Whoaaa whoaa, I was just giving JD a hard time.. I'm sorry I didn't declare my sarcasm enough. It's just he and I often disagree on methods of doing things so I was teasing 'em. There's never any one solution for growing for anyone. There's no right or wrong way, look at Heath Robinson and his vertical grows, look at the guys who grow a full ounce in a cookie jar vertical scrog. Does that mean we should all grow vert? Heck no, haha. Everyones situation and setup to grow will vary, there is no right or wrong way. I was just messing with JD, I'm sure he knew that and if not I apologize - there was no offense to be intended. If you want I can go back and remove my posts, no issue for me - I'm not here to argue, typically people who enjoy mary don't argue much.
I'm sorry for derailing the thread even suggesting it, I didn't expect it to go where it did - but there's a great chunk of knowledge here from FD. There's a few other tiered transplant artists out there on google if you're bored, does it mean we should all tiered transplant? No way.

I went ahead and deleted my post. I'll say it one more time then drop it -- I'm just a dumb ass... O.K. so I'm looking forward to seeing those pics WG hopefully will add! We got one example with FD's 2 gallon beast... Curious to see what WG did with his... I'm really pumped about trying this method. I'm going to add the tweak TBM added tho. So I don't screw up! Cut the cut FIRST then put another cup uncut over it. So when I'm ready to tier it just take off the uncut cup and Voila! No worries about cutting the roots and being a dumb ass! (me anyway, I only speak for myself! lol)
Fed the Assassin her first feeding today. 1/3 grow, 1/2 bloom, 2 tsp of Honey Es. Looks good so far...
Snow Ryders got a drink with 2 tsp. molasses.
NYLPD 1-4 & Assassins 2 & 3 watered with pH'd water.
Having a rough day. Lost NYLPD #5. For some reason it quit growing, never opened it's cotyledons. It started shriveling up last night and I figured I'd see what happens and when I check on them today it was dead. Dumped AA#2 by accident when I was putting SR1 back and knocked it over. Thankfully I had just watered the seedlings and the OF held together pretty good so I didn't see any root tearing or damage. AA stayed put and I just put the dirt back in that dumped out and packed it down carefully. It's been a rough week. I hope tomorrow starts a better one!
One last time I apologize for misunderstanding what was going on. I'm still a noob to a lot of things as well as growing. Won't happen again buds! Peace and great karma to all my fellow AFNers!
