Hey all, I've been reading this forum for awhile now and figured it was time for a post. I'm currently growing Nirvana's Auto NL and their Short Rider strains. Both of my girls just showed flowers at 22 days and I'm wondering about which of the FF Soluble Nutes to use first. I know the Open Sesame is to start the budding process but since they have already showed flower should I just jump right into the Beastie Bloomz?

I also use the FF Trio for my regular nutes. Only growing under a 150w HPS.

Any information would be awesome.

hi andzep15 and welcome to afn, great to have you here. fraid i cant answer your questions as none of the ff range is available in my area but a lot of growers here use there products. good luck with your grow , they look really nice:smokebuds:

Thanks for the quick response Boomer, I really want to start using these nutes but I'm just not sure which one to go with first.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Even though your plants have started to flower there will still be considerable vertical growth over the next 3 weeks before the buds really start to grow. So continue using your vegetative nutes through at least week 5, if not through week six. Watch your vertical growth and when you see it slow a lot, then it's time to switch. If you haven't feed them yet I would recommend you start them now with 1/2 strength and after a couple of feedings, increase to full strength. Fox Farms nutes are pretty gentle but if you see any signs of over fertilization, back of to half strength.

Plants look good.

I've been feeding Grow Big for about two weeks now and once I seen the start of flowers today I fed with Tiger and Big Bloom. If I go back to GB will that mess anything up? Thanks for the welcome Muddy :toke:

From what I read you only do once a week with each one so that the soil will dry, you can water with one, the soil stays wet for 3 days and the plant soaks it up, then you do your next one. I have read that if you do multiple at once, the soil's chemicals will not be what is Ideal. Here is what I use now. http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf Everyhing you should need to know.

I've seen this schedule before but is it right for an auto since their grow time is shorter than a photo strain?

follow the feeding schedule fox farms gives and only use half of the recomended powdered nutrients. let the rest go as it says and you will have great results.

Now bare in mind ive done one grow, and only one grow, but I used the schedule and it worked fine. The only thing I did differently was start the solluble when the flowering began instead of waiting the extra 3-4 weeks of veg. Since the only difference with autos is that they flower faster, I dont think there is much of a need to change the nute schedule. That is just what I do interested to hear what other more experienced growers do.

No, it won't mess anything up.
