Because I can get busy and forgetful I had to come up with ways to keep stuff separated in my grow area .
For my gallon jugs of premixed grow/bloom/transplant/ flush I tend to use different colored caps . Green for grow , red for bloom , blue for transplant , and clear for straight flush water .
To try to keep my plants identified I take old mini blinds and cut 3-4" pieces from the slats to use as markers . If no mini blinds around I will use an older cracked party cup and cut 3/4 " x 3-4" pieces from it to mark plants .
For aerating my jugs prior to use I will pull the caps and place them under each jug and use individual air stones for each jug . I never mix them , they are always just for those jugs . I also have "T" s and shutoff valves set up so I can run just one or all .
Lol , one thing I also do is use those little magnetic plaques that are used for dishwashers that say dirty/clean . If it says dirty , that means my last watering was with ferts . If it is switched to clean , that means last dose was straight water .
One other thing is that I saved all the little dosage vials for when my daughter was sick . They have mil and teaspoon/tablespoon markings on them . I keep one for each stage in a cycle ( grow/bloom/booster) .
Anyway , just a few things that seem to have made things a little easier overall , as well as more precise . Seems to work for me . YMMV
