Random midweek post, week 2.5 approx.
so I have no idea what’s going on here.
I mean, obvs one plant is stretching but holy hell lol.
both these gals are same age, under the same light(each is under an autocob), yada yada.
They started 32” under the autocobs and I expected a bit of stretch but mim cake don’t care, she ain’t stretching.
All the while straw ban is reaching for the skies.
I kind of think the one cob is going out maybe and that’s why it’s plant is stretching like this.
I’ll investigate that tomorrow, I’m too high and tired to do anything except whine about it atm lol. View attachment 1321475

I have the exact same with the runtz one is huge one more bushy . Could they both be showing different traits ? Like one more indica and one more sativa ? Or maybe the Rudi ? Asking questions btw there not trying to inform

Different phenotype expressions in same strain are one of my favorite things to observe.

Update #1 Day 1

Strain Purple Punch

Seeded in a 7 gallon fabric bag. The grow medium is locally mixed organic soil, with additional amendments of cow manure, worm castings, and perlite. MC for additional nutrients if needed

The environment is northwest coastal weather conditions, at a latitude of 49+ degrees N.
I've seen mentioned purple strains can be a bit finicky. I'll be pretty much hands off. I got'z no idea how this will turn out.

Update time. Things are looking good. Pit in the dirt last Saturday evening, popped up Wednesday-Thursday, so here we are 5-6 days out of the dirt.

Flowering update day 39
Got rid of the stragglers and some leafs from the biggest the other 2 haven't budged hight wise. Is what it is all had same feeds so the only thing it can be is the potting up,? Didn't see any issues so God knows we keep moving forward tho

We just hit the 3 week mark and straw ban and mim cake are still alive barely lol.
if you follow along with the blog then you may have seen where they were assaulted viciously by my bobtail cat.
so between straw ban stretching like crazy and mim cake bearing the brunt of the cat-astrophy I am growing and showing a couple of wounded weedies lol.
I’m bending both plants now, don’t even care about their feelings anymore and we shall see if they decide to turn out.
