A-Train uses promix BX, which is mostly peat moss with perlite and vermiculite and lime to balance the PH. FairlyNew with the promix HP, the same thing, just more perlite and vermiculite for higher drainage. There are some micronutes available in the lime but that's all.

Now if you guys add a little worm castings, you've got the base for a nice organic soil recipe.

Thanks for the reply Atulip, i will be using the root riot cubes into coco/perlite so just water for the first 7 to 10 days then nutes ?

Looks like 10 days above soil for feeding, that's about 2 weeks from seed germination, which sounds normal for starting nutes. Anywhere in that 2-3 week area to start nutes, typically half strength for that first feeding.

I've read some people pre charge their coco, probably not much need.

No problem @A-Train just up trying to get a thread together for my new DIY Mars to Cree conversion.

Now let's get your Mars 1200 converted. Probably would be too much light for your space though lol.

You jelly of my photons?

I think Mars 1200 to Cree would be like 1200+ppfd in a 3'x3'. I'm aiming for like 800. At a certain point too much light just drops efficiency in terms of how much the plant can use. I also believe the full spectrum white will benefit the plants more than red/blue focus.
