Indoor Eye Likes Pot

Your 600w is probably a lot hotter than my 300w tho

:smoking: It's pretty hot to the touch. But now you mention it... Its probably the design mostly...why it's so hot. The kind is built very well with venting on all sides and 6 internal fans. The mars are cool to the touch. The kind isn't at 100% tho so it probably runs hot...hence the 6 fans maybe? :coffee: I'm afraid it will roast them at 100%! Seems I raise it up hourly lol

I think I was mostly explaining it to myself out loud! You probably already knew. But you're welcome!
:pass:

Well I'm still trying to get my head around all this. So you thinking out loud helps me learn and understand. It's crazy to me all different spectrum analysis results between each make and models. There's no blanket response. It's very interesting and fascinating. New but fun territory!

This is a first! All the kids under the Roleadro are praying :smoking: They sure love it!! Literally just took this pic..

I love this panel! :pass:

I don't like being confused, so I just retook a crash course in lighting...

Spectrum since it has come up. I have 2 300w 2nd generation roleadro LEDs in my tent and also a 300w Vipar Spectra reflector. Here are their spectrum charts

400w MH

The MH has a significant amount of green light and if I'm reading correctly over 50 percent of the light it emits falls into that category. The ratio of colors is very different and also more severe.

I'm guessing here, but I'd say pot size and light intensity are the actual factors as to why my bushes are so bushy.. the 5w diodes on all 3 of my lights are far more intense than the 400w mh so my plants aren't reaching for light and putting that energy elsewhere?

I really don't know. There are a lot of factors to consider.

:pass:

That makes sense, I've got a 400hps too but both running in that room would be way too hot... looks like I need to shop for an LED for Xmas

I see a lot of members here use MARS, I think the price is fair, but the local hydro shop says they're no good... this may be because they want to sell another product I forget the name but the pricing is outrageous like 3 to for times the price for around the same wattage.. I dunno LED lighting is kind of confusing to me, I mean to try and compare units I have no idea
