Indoor Eye Likes Pot

very notable difference even is stalk size..

thats day 24 no where near the stalk size of yours and maybe 6 nodes i think, just to show the defference, dont mean to load images of my stuff but i cant believe the difference

They look really healthy though!! What kind of lights do you have them under?

I know absolutely nothing about mh lighting...
:smoking:

It's hot that's all I know lol

Here's the MH & HPS spectral analysis... MH seems to have mkre of the spectrum of the Roleadros we are running... If I'm reading that right.

Your girls are exploding like crazy. Awesome! Their growth is just incredible. :pass: :smokeout:

I don't like being confused, so I just retook a crash course in lighting...

Spectrum since it has come up. I have 2 300w 2nd generation roleadro LEDs in my tent and also a 300w Vipar Spectra reflector. Here are their spectrum charts

The MH has a significant amount of green light and if I'm reading correctly over 50 percent of the light it emits falls into that category. The ratio of colors is very different and also more severe.

I'm guessing here, but I'd say pot size and light intensity are the actual factors as to why my bushes are so bushy.. the 5w diodes on all 3 of my lights are far more intense than the 400w mh so my plants aren't reaching for light and putting that energy elsewhere?

I really don't know. There are a lot of factors to consider.

Oh I was just thinking of the heat... Power mentioned how hot they were... Out of the three leds I have the roleadro runs hot like the mh lights. Even tho its smaller it's way more hot when you touch it than the others. That's all I meant... :pass:

Thanks for sharing those... There's clearly a difference between the roleadros and mh. :pass:

The heat factor isnt about visible light spectrum. MH is hot because it literally heats up the arc tube to vaporize the metals which produces light. LEDs produce light by recombining photons and holes electronically.

Mine run hotter than the Vipar, but I think that's because of design. It's really not much hotter though tbh.

I see. Thanks for explaining that to me.
