Yeah I don't think it's anything major. It's probably just pH problems. Among other things I'm really looking forward to seeing if she has grown more rapidly during the week now that the lighting is more efficient.

Thanks for dropping by!

It's raining outside. The weather has been really cold and murky the whole day.

Inside the cabinet, however, there's a plant that couldn't care less.

It's her 5th week now and she's finally showing pistils. I'm no expert so I can't tell if the FIM I did last weekend went well, but to me it sure looks that way. The trick to get her to grow seems to have been either food, the modifications I made to the lighting or both. I'm tempted to give her another feeding this weekend if the soil pH isn't too acidic yet. The spots haven't spread on the new growth which looks super healthy.

Have an awesome, gloomy day everyone!

Looking good! You have a good week of stretch left before full flower, that's what happened with my balcony photo, enough time to have nice colas and bud sites, I'd say you'll get at least 6 to 8 colas, but I'm far from being a pro!
Good luck anyway I'll be watchin!
:kusht:

Experts' opinions on SCRoG needed!

I made a SCRoG net out of one of the shelf platform thingies that used to be a part of the cabinet when it still served its old purpose. Like the rest of the cabinet it's made from chipboard but it should be strong enough. The string isn't ideal, but it was the best I could find and should perform adequately. The holes (I really don't know what to call them Woops) in the screen are 50x54 mm.

I also gave her a feeding of 3 ml of bloom and 1.5 ml of micro as well as 1 tbsp of epsom. Slurry test from about 2" deep showed 7-ish before feeding.

I'm not 100% sure if there'll be any benefits considering that the plant is already starting to flower but there's only one way to find out, really.

Is the height of the screen correct? (about 11 cm from the base of the plant)

Should I leave the screen there for the upcoming week? (the next time I can adjust it after tomorrow will be on Friday)

Anything else I should take into consideration?

Nice use of materials that were on hand!

I think the biggest thing to worry about with screen height is whether or not you can get below the screen to water the plant. As long as you have enough room to water the plant when it's in full bloom then you are golden. At least thats what I gathered from the ass ton of reading I've done on the subject. ;D

Awesome, thanks guys!

I did some more bondage with her today. My aim is to get her to grow across the space horizontally so I can spread the side branches evenly and keep the bigger budsites close to the sides.

It's gonna be her first five days alone with the screen in place so I don't know what to expect. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed. :dance2:

This is looking great im loving those big fan leafs and the bushyness of her already. Sending the
