Purple Kush. Still didn;t get pollen off of the last collected buds.I may just let some open up and then cut them off. Nothing else is flowering right now anyway and it's in a different room. The fan/ac has been on all the time too *shrugs Nothing else right now is reversed, and I actually have an ionic breeze in this room I am about to plug in nw that I remember lol. But I want some yellow dust damnit! :xlaugh:

lol hopefully. Gonna plant another couple Purple Kush Auto seeds and see if I can get the same pheno with very indica-dom, wide fan leaves.

Just found several pollen sacs growing from a Fem Afghan Kush Ryder right before it was going to be pollinated by a Purple Kush Auto... Shame, it was a beautiful plant too, but it had to be killed. Oh well.. Next.

Pollinated? Was rubbed with the dust from the crushed anthers a few days ago, and then once before with the same dust a day or two before that. There are only a couple red/brown pistils and they are on a preflowert hat was also dusted. The question is whether or not there was (viable) pollen in that dust.

Looks like it might be. You should be able to tell for sure in a couple days.

You will know. Hairs can go brown just from touching them.

You collected very little pollen. I like to hammer my ladies.
Throw them a heavy dusting. She never complains about being
the white/yellow mess.

If you want seeds you need to dust her hard.

I agree more pollen would've been better. Was a small plant tho, and the first time experimenting / testing, so that's all that was collected this time.

I've been starting to think that people worry too much about pollen being soooo dangerous for seeding entire grows tho, because using cs, and intentional pollination, it is still somewhat of an ordeal to have success. Simple steps, but an ordeal nonetheless. Yet people are worried about seeding their entire crop and ruining genetic lines because of a light on their power strip.
Heck, if it's humid out, your pollen gets ruined just by being exposed to the air. I cant help but think people fear it a little too much.

Ill give you a small tip. (anyone can disagree this is how I do it and it works very well.)

Take the plant into a different room. Hit her hard with pollen. Leave her in the room for 2 days. Dont need any light or low power light.

After 2 or 2 1/2 half days wash the plant down with water. I like to use the shower but a spray bottle will work. Just takes lots longer.
Make sure and get the soil very well and the pot the plant is in.

Place back in tent with others.

You may end up with a few seeds in your other plants but nothing to worry about.

If your male/reversed male is not in a different area I would move right away.
I treat my males like shit and they always dump loads.
