EverythingsHazy's Breeding Thread

I had a Dinafem Moby Dick go herm on me this year. It wasnt forced or anything, but it was subjected to an unusual amount of stress, eaten by bugs, flooded and transplanted.

Sucks :/ herms are such a waste of almost a month until you find out what they are.....

The two AKR were growing perfectly fine, with no noticeable stress before they made pollen sacs. Going to assume that batch is "contaminated" to be safe.

Is the one on the right an aborted seed? IF so, what is the cause?

Yes. That can just happen sometimes. Not every seed the plant produces will be A grade. As long as they are not all developing like that I'm sure you don't have a problem

Not all, but more calyxes than not, have a hard, dark piece in them vs the a green one. If one is good htough, I doubt there wouldn't be a handful of other good ones as well.

No seeds on that plant matured till this point. It's most likely going to get cut down. the potency and cannabinoid ratios are probably all out of whack now. Wonder if it was the lack of nutrients in the small container, or bad pollen.. Oh well.

Question:

What auto do you guys think has the strongest, stoney, Indica effect, besides AKR (they seem to have had a bad batch according to a few people the last several months)? Anything else that is like that in terms of that kushy earthy "MARIJUANA" smell, and effect..?

here is a look at the afghan kush ryder x purple kush auto offspring. She is from a fem seed run I did. She was harvested in may. I enjoy the smoke and the smell. this one was grown in a 2 gallon equivalent pot. The purple kush Auto fem was sprayed with Tiresias mist and her pollen was used on a afghan kush ryder fem.

Very nice! Did you ever further stabilize that cross?

Also, in terms of effect, could you describe each of the ones you tried out of the three, and compare a bit (akr, pka, cross)?

No I only ran her the one time. I also made a 2 others crosses with the pka pollen that I have never ran.

Are you using cal mag or Any high pk ratios?
