New Grower Equatorial 2.0

These 2 Diesel and Lemon are going outside for the night. Took them off the lights in the evening and put them on balcony till morning sun appears. My attempt at trying lesser light before harvest. I blasted them with lights 24/0 till harvest last grow so trying something different this time.

Can't help but notice the nice shape on Diesel so snapped some pics to share. My first RQS plant.

I have identified Diesel, Lemon and Sour Hound to be chopped within these few days. Best if it can coincide with Sunday, two days from today. Diesel and Lemon will be 83 days old and SH will be 74 days old or so. Not set in stone though.

Moved them to balcony since I know it probably wont rain till next morning. I don't have the means of providing total darkness so consider this my attempt to lessen daylight. Took some shots

I am aiming for an earlier harvest to try the effects, since I mainly harvested late last grow for a more medicinal effect. They are all mostly cloudy since a week back and pistils around 50% dark as of today.

I hope you guys can give me some opinion?

Looks like foxtailing or just a foxtail pheno? I seem to get one plant doing this each grow. However, its happening on all budsites. Leads me to believe it should be normal?

Lemon below

I suck at taking budshots but these are some really fat and dense buds.

Great smell on her. Can't wait to try my first Mephisto strain.

Those still look like they are swelling to me but would still be a nice racey high.

foxtailing is a trait with some autos dr.grinspoon an extreme example,some strains are more prone to foxtailing than others.
i think its pretty,others complain that it a pain to trim.as theres quite a few white haires id guess theres some fattening up to do yet.
keep er lit.

The next 2 shots i can't remember if its Lemon or SH but they are pretty similar at growth stage.

I feel another week should be fine, to wait for around 10% amber? Or more curling of pistils? I would like the highest THC content for this harvest.

I recently harvested an auto Kaya 47 at a similar stage as your plants, all I can say is smokes ok 3 weeks after but it's not the best I've had. Wish I could have waited longer but thrips started making a come back.

i would check a plant over by looking at 5 or 6 buds,low mid,top.9/10 times the top will show ambers first.so unless we harvest a plant a few buds at a time over a 7-10 day period we never gonna get peak thc/perfect clear/cloudy/amber % of our choice.can chop top half off and rest a week later.but most of us guesstimate an average and chop the lot.

I beg to differ on the eejit part. That is some sound advice! Will observe another week and post here again for opinions.
